“Just stopped at Guthrie’s for the first time driving back home from the Gulf and we were highly impressed. The staff were welcoming and friendly, restaurant was very clean and the food was fast, hot and delicious! Will definitely stop at a Guthrie’s again, especially this location.“

“1 reason. the oreo blasts. plus, I've never had a problem with anyone who has ever served me. always polite. the wait sometimes though. it'll say my food is being delivered and sometimes is another 20 minutes before anyone shows. and its not even that busy. but those blasts though. also, if you're going to put boba in drinks. you need straws big enough to get the boba through lol“

“So my husband has lung cancer today he got a good report. He is about half way through his radiation and we have had nothing but bad news. TODAY the cancer center called. The doctor looked at his scan and said the tumor is shrinking so well that they are going to decrease the area of radiation!!! I decided to surprise him with a small ice cream cake from Dairy Queen in Valley, AL. I told the nice man that waited on me to write “Celebrate Life” on his cake and told him why. Long story short the gentleman GAVE us the cake and told us to enjoy and Congratulations!!! I asked his name and he never told me. His kindness added much joy to our little celebration! Thank you!!! “I’m not sure if I go to Chick-fil-A in Valley too often, or if the staff is just THAT good… probably the latter, but they know me by name. 😂 Bryan is always kind and welcoming.

The food is always excellent, the customer service is consistently great, and everyone is polite and friendly. The drive-thru can be a little slower some mornings, but when they’re busy, I totally get it. They’re serving a ton of people!

I also love that this location has a playground, which is a huge win when you have kids. But honestly, the biggest thing is the consistency. Good food, good service, clean restaurant, friendly staff — every time.

Stopped by Arby’s and found a value meal that surprised me 👀

For $7.99 I got:
🥪 Roast Beef Sandwich
🍑 Peach Cobbler Egg Roll
🧀 2 Mozzarella Sticks
🍟 Fries
🥤 Drink

That peach cobbler egg roll was the real wildcard… sweet, crispy, and something you don’t expect from a fast food run. The roast beef was classic Arby’s and the mozzarella sticks were hot and cheesy.

If you're in Lanett and trying to eat good without spending $10+, this combo is definitely worth checking out.

“I'm trying to leave a few good reviews. I hate most of the places in Valley these days. Captain Ds is one of the few we occasionally eat at. Food is hit or miss sometimes-spices or amounts. Service is slow but that is due to type of food and expected. Atmosphere is much better than most places. We always seem to get the chatty woman at the window and she is sooo nice. She makes it seem like you are at a family restaurant vs a food chain. Love her.“
