“Love the food, however, on multiple occasions when I get a quick chick on my lunch break I’m only given 4 packs of crackers and I’m not sure how I’m supposed to be satisfied with that as a meal, so the rest of work I’m just starving. “We are visiting Birmingham this weekend for the Lake Street Dive show tomorrow. Restaurant Week led us to OvenBird. Last night we ordered the Tomato Salad, Hanger Steak and Roasted Chicken. Among the best, most delicious meal we’ve ever had. The Tomato Salad is over the top delectable. Chris, our server, welcomed us to the restaurant and to Birmingham with informative, gracious service. Highly recommended!”

“Went to Amore tonight for our anniversary dinner. Our waiter, Robert, was outstanding explaining the specials of the day and suggesting a great wine which really complimented our dinner of shrimp and lobster linguine which was cooked to perfection. Our dessert of crème brûlée was spectacular! The best meal we have had in a while and I highly recommend Amore for a truly enjoyable experience.”

“It is without a doubt, a great French bakery in Birmingham. The cream fillings, cherry filling / compote, the rich dark bold flavors of chocolate. You can taste the quality of ingredients and the skill that went into each dessert.

The flakiness of the crossaints, the crunch in every bite and to top it off,the burst of creme. With all the fillings, creams or fruit, you can still taste the butter.

There was a very long line as there should be. This location delivers as it promises! 🙌”

Bishop was amazing....staring woth the glass of celebratory champaign, picking a perfect wine pairing, explaining the dishes, great sense of humor....he helped make our experience fun and memorable. The food....OH. MY. GOODNESS!!! The food was amazing. Cooked to perfection! From the bread, Amuse Bouche, appetizer (great fried green tomatoes, by the way!!!) Intermezzo, main course (ribeye and braised rabbit), and dessert with coffee....every step was amazing! A truly wonderful sensual experience from all the aromas, flavors, and ambiance. We will definitely be back, and will definitely recommend Cafe DuPont to others. Thank you for making our celebration special!”

“I was craving some good chicken tenders and coleslaw. I remembered seeing this place and wanted to try it out. 10/10 in my opinion. The chicken tenders are so tasty and the sauces are all great. We tried bbq sauce, honey mustard and ranch. We also had the fries which were amazing! We will definitely be back to try other things on the menu and to try some of the custard. The price for 7 tenders, regular fry, coleslaw and 2 extra sauces came out to a little over 20 bucks.”

“Princeton Alternative Elementary School hired Gus's to cater an outside "tailgating" experience for about 200 students, staff, and parents. Lee and his staff member exceeded our expectations. They were timely, prepared, and eager to help us in any capacity. They served everyone with a smile and pleasant attitude. Our event was a success because of the delicious food and excellent service. We are so glad to have found a partner in Gus's and look forward to having them at future events.”
