“Overall a great experience. We used one of the private party rooms. Everything was excellent except the lighting. In the private event rooms, they could definitely use some sparse LED lights. I would suggest just to place some lights, need no more than 4 or 5. And, have the option for guests to turn them off if need be.“

Most of the time the servers are very attentive; occasionally when extremely busy, it might take a few extra minutes for the food to reach the table. Have never left hungry or dissatisfied. I called to get information about placing a order for next day pick up he gave me all the information I needed, I had to call back to place the order and he answered very kindly and on the second ring . I'm very impressed with his Knowledge and suggestion of what to order. He was so professional. I will not be pick up my food until tomorrow but if the food is as good as his service I will definitely be back.“

“This was wonderful…the food, the service, the friendly people…I just can’t say enough about how much we loved this restaurant. Well we ate 3 of our 6 meals here. We would have eaten more but we ate two of our 6 at the Riverwalk Stadium during baseball games and another before we found the place. Love your Cafe! Oh and also the best sweet tea of my 61 years!“

“The portions here are getting smaller and smaller. It was NOT worth the half filled cups of sides and maybe 6 ounces of meat that we got for $11.99. My meat and okra were cold. The place was dirty with trash all over the floor, the tables were so sticky that our napkins stuck to the table. Also, Do not go here to eat if your group is more than six people! You cant slide tables together so your party can sit together. You can't slide even a chair over to sit at the end of a table. You have to decide how to spilt up and sit at different tables even if it is for ONE single person that wont fit!! Lady told us we couldn't move a chair... that's ok, we wont eat here again.“

“Great food. Bit rundown, no drink refills and they got my order wrong but the fries were crispy and the fried catfish was perfect. It's nice they have Lowrys at the counter to season your food to your liking with some more flavor but it would be better if the food was seasoned right out of the fryer instead of at the window.“

“The food was good and fresh, I ordered the fish combo with fries and fruit punch. I had to wait a while but it was very good, the only downside is one of the male employees got an attitude with me when I politely asked about the wait time on my food. It seems like he was having a bad day, but don’t take it out on the customer.“

“I reviewed a steak place over on east chase parkway and in that review, I mentioned this Longhorns in my review. I can't believe I have not reviewed this Longhorns yet. This is the best steak place in Montgomery. There might be one downtown somewhere I haven't tried, but I don't think so. The outlaw ribeye here is the best in town. It is consistently good, the right amount of seasoning and even a medium has great char. we eat here at least twice a month, never had a bad steak. the mashed potatoes are the best side, make sure to get them in a separate bowl with extra butter (my opinion) and adding a salad is maybe $2. You're in Montgomery, Alabama, and almost on the southern bypass, which means most of the staff don't really want to be working anyway, so don't expect superior service, but they will bring your food, which is the most important part. side note- twice this summer of 2025 we went there for lunch and the place smelled horrible. apparently the carpet got wet and spoiled/mildewed/soured we had to leave because of the smell, not the food. last time we went it was better but I suggest sitting by the bar.“
