Every order I’ve placed has been spot-on—crispy chicken, hot waffle fries, and perfectly prepared breakfast items like chicken biscuits and hash browns. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and never misses a “my pleasure.”

That said, the speed of service has felt a little off during my recent visits. The drive-thru lines can get long (as expected), but even once you’re in line or at the window, the rhythm sometimes feels clunky. It’s not chaotic—just slower than what I’ve come to expect from other Chick-fil-A locations. This might be due to it being a newer store still finding its groove, and I want to give grace for that.

What stands out is the team’s attitude. Even when it’s busy or a bit delayed, they don’t rush interactions or skip on courtesy. That professionalism matters and makes the wait a little more tolerable. I can see this store improving with time and training—and I’ll definitely keep returning, especially since the food quality hasn’t missed a beat.

“It is a real treat to go to McAlister's deli and this location proved to be great! The food was delicious and very filling, and the staff was friendly and helpful. We had the choose two meal - what a fantastic deal for fresh and tasty food! Will definitely go back next time we are in town!“

“This was my first time to visit Blaze Pizza in Tuscaloosa Alabama. This was a very pleasant experience I ordered the Blazin BBQ Pizza as they offer it and I added mushrooms to it. The pizza was out very quickly as they advertise my only issue was the fact that I wish that it would have had a little bit more barbecue sauce on it . I probably could have asked them to add some but I would have liked for it to be cooked into it instead of me having to add it on at a later point“

“The service at this Mexican restaurant was excellent and the food is outstanding. My wife had street tacos and absolutely loved them. I opted for the Alambre Fajitas, which were incredibly delicious. The portion size was generous, so I had to order a box to take home. Their queso and salsa were also fantastic. To top it off, we had fried ice cream for dessert, which was the best I’ve ever had in Tuscaloosa. I highly recommend this restaurant if you’re looking for great Mexican food. I know my family will be eating there again.“

“As I was looking for an authentic Mexican place, I came upon Loco Lupes. I wanted queso and on the DoorDash website, this was the only place other than Socal, Chiptotle, and Central Mesa. Although those places are great, I do not like their queso very much. I have never heard of Loco Lupes but decided to give it a go. Thank goodness I did because that was one of the best quesos that I have ever had. I also got a cheese quesadilla and salsa. Both were great and I will for sure order this again. 10/10!“

“This first time, this happened; Order Spud Max , got home with it, saw several black flakes in it, took bite of it was burnt bacon, my potato was half full burnt bacon in it. Try eating, had to stop, every bite had burnt taste to it. Had to discard my potato. Would return it, but live over 10 miles. Hope that this was one time, thing. Luv eating at McAllister.“

“I can’t really confirm the atmosphere since I ordered through DoorDash, but I will say that the food was delicious. I did a pick 2 half sandwich half salad. I got a Caesar salad that was great with loaded potato soup. They delivered to my hotel within 35 minutes, my soup was still hot and separated from the salad. There’s nothing worse than having your salad warm because they packed it all together. That was not the case here. I also got a toasted piece of French bread. It was perfect after a long day.“
