“Love this place. The food is delicious and the people that work there are super nice. I live in Oakman and my sister lives in Florida and when she comes to visit she just has to eat at Mikes. And before she leaves out heading back to Florida she has to stop and get a BBQ sandwich and a large sweet tea for the road. If you haven’t ate here then your missing out on some delicious food!!“

“I dined in with my wife and ordered the regular steak sandwich. It was delicious, but it needed to be hotter. Otherwise, I would have given it 5 stars. The service was awesome, and the banana pudding tasted great! The owners are wonderful people; well, Ms. Mary is for sure. ;)“

“Americana with a touch of southern hospitality. Loved this authentic family-run mom-n-pop type local's spot serving up stick-to-yer-ribs legit food. Knew was in the right spot when the place filled with workers all seeking the $10 (meat + 2 sides + dessert/drink) lunch special. Fast friendly down-to-earth service, portions decent, and priced reasonably. Plenty of room-long tables even, ample parking, plus a to-go outside walk-up window. Can't wait to try a breakfast here too. Would have taken far more pics but already stood out big time as not from around here and didn't want to draw more attention to myself...LoL. Places like this are a disappearing breed.“

“Quaint and cozy country home kitchen cooking hidden gem right here. Don't just drive on by, give 'em a try. Southern fare priced very reasonably served up by friendly, real people staff (Well, was a 1-man operation when I was there...wish the corn I came for wasn't out of season, but that loaded Polish sausage did live up to my expectations!) Roomy interior, seasonal outside seating, clean bathroom, and ample parking out front. Not sure whom Buck & Buddy are, but props to you.“
