“My husband and I love Golden City! We started going 3 years ago, and it has consistently been our favorite place in the area. We love their sushi rolls, sweet and sour chicken, and hibachi. My favorite is the egg drop soup. Not only is the food fantastic, but we always love the incredible service that Golden City provides.“

The pad thai, garlic eggplant and drunken noodles are also amazing. Prices and portions are very reasonable in my opinion. You will not regret checking this place out.“

“Panda House is quiet with relaxing music and a dark interior, definitely perfect for a quiet outing for lunch or dinner. As someone who is Gluten free I can only comment on that menu, which is separate and must be asked for (though, many items on the main menu are also gluten free too;) the Fried rice and Rice Noodle combination options are my favorite, and though I haven't tried many items, the friends and family I go with tell me the other options are great too. Staff at Panda House are very quick, though I may be biased because we always show up at hours of low traffic, you will definitely get to know the few people who do work there at the front as very nice to speak with! Lastly, with my experience, I find that wait time for tables are never an issue and food does not take long at all to prepare (again, note possible bias here.) All and all, Panda House is a pleasant place to go to, and I've gone three or four times in the last 60 days!“

“The food taste great. But hot and sour soup seafood for two had two shrimp. That’s it for the seafood hot and sour soup, dinner menu. The dumplings are delicious but the most tiny container of sauce, for eight dumplings! Feeling a little cranky. Never a question of flavor, it’s the best.“

“I will never order from this place due to the lack of customer service skills these people have. I have ordered here multiple times with white rice missing from my order. When I call up to inform them that my rice is missing, I am always told to bring my food back up to store and “we will give you white rice”. Well there is a problem with that when I live 30 minutes away, my entire order is going to be cold at that point. They refuse to replace the entire order and do it correctly so all the food will be hot. It seems like this place is ok with screw ups and not doing the right thing. Every order that I place is a minimum of $60. If you are ok with losing a customer, I am ok not ordering from here.“

“Just moved here, & I'm so thankful I found this hidden gem! I looked up over 20 places, & I didn't see what I wanted on the menu I'm so thankful I called in and asked if they have Tofu & they did! I made my own Tofu with broccoli, & fried rice with only egg/onion. They have the best prices affordable prices in Hoover! This will be my only to go spot for Chinese food. It's well worth the drive in a very beautiful neighborhood to the plaza. One of my favorite things is the crispy noodles 🤤 they make there's fresh next time I'm getting 10 bags because one wasn't enough. I will be getting food here weekly very generous with the portions almost enough for 3 meals. I highly recommend everyone try this spot, & if you don't see something on there menu just call & ask. The price is definitely reasonable for all you can eat & the selection available. The restaurant was clean, service was friendly. Priced under 20 a person. We will be back!!“

“Enjoyed a quiet evening visiting a new Chinese Restaurant. Enjoyed a cup of hot and sour soup and the Mongolian combination Chef's special with white rice. Also tried and egg and spring roll. Will have to come back and try other dishes. Heard that they have a great lunch buffet. Worth checking out.
