“Well-placed waypoint when I travel between central Florida and northern Alabama. Very quiet place, alway very clean. Low rates! Maintenance has fallen off a bit in recent years, but it's still a good place to stay. Close enough to the city without the troubles that are in the city. It's been a regular stop for me for many years. I'd recommend it to anyone who is regular folks.“

“Pleasant atmosphere, service was spot on and the food (Healthy Harvest Salad) was delicious. Our two servers (one was in training) were very cordial, knowledgeable of the menu and professional. The wait time was about 10 or 12 minutes. Everyone was pleased with their order, thoroughly enjoyed.“

“Best burger in Montgomery hands down, but they need somebody who knows how to drop French fries and get some patties going before 10,000 people get in line. Better get there by 10:50. Burgers are HUGE and all toppings are free, remember to put seasoned salt on the fries yourself.“

“Great food for starters. I am from the Gulf Coast of Texas and know good seafood, and as far as the fried shrimp crab claws oysters and grilled fish, it's definitely good. The atmosphere and hospitality were awesome. If I was going to complain about anything it would be that the band was a bit loud for dining but it was also 9pm already and everyone else was dancing and having a blast so it made up for it.“

“I noticed old crusted food was stuck to my plate, dispite them being highly rated by the health department. Coffee cup smelled and it was all too much. Try again another time. Dish washer was off. I can understand. Been there, done that. “

Dinner with best friends included the filet, fresh halibut with lump crab, the surf and turf and shrimp pasta with fresh basil—all of which was outstanding. Paired with Caesar salads, a crab cake and a sampling of desserts, the only thing better than dinner was the fellowship and the service. Thanks, City Grill. Outstanding once again :)“

“Went here for my birthday. Recommended by a coworker. Nice place, small and intimate. Tastefully decorated. The service was fantastic. We had the calamari for a starter. I ordered the blackened gulf swordfish with crawfish ettouffe and basmati rice. It was good and had some heat. I would guess habanero powder/salt. He had the wagyu picanha steak with fries. For dessert, the chocolate cake with salted carmel sauce. Everything was very good. I already know what I am going to order next time.“

“Went in for lunch with my daughter who I have to support for her to walk. It was busy but they were very accommodating to get us seated . Food was delicious and plentiful. Even added a take out order which they had ready by the time we were finished.“

I had an issue with an order and she took the time to call me and fill me in on what was going on to make sure that I was still taken care of. “Great ambience. Can get noisy though. But overall a good place to have drinks, enjoy a great meal with company. Cocktails were excellent. My ribeye was grilled to perfection. “A small locally owned restaurant that has been in the same spot since I was a kid. The name tells you that they have good chilli but the burgers are also good. Best chili I can think of in town. A little too clean to be called a dirty spoon diner but it certainly feels like a local secret and the ladies working there are just as sweet as the tea. I will be back to try some more of the menu“

The grocery selection is fantastic. The ONLY thing I could find any fault with is that parking can be sketchy due to location. That is not their fault.“

Brooke (bartender) was extremely helpful and educated me on the drinks I was ordering, what I could order if I liked that one, and how to order them. “I loved the food. The creamed corn was just the right consistency with a very rich flavor. The peach cobbler was made with the best peaches and a beautifully flaky crust. The banana cream pudding was just like my grand mom used to make it, but more delicious! The fried chicken was good! The meatballs were soooooo good. All around it was very delicious in the service was superb!“
