“Went for dinner a few nights ago at around 8, I had a long day + their salad bar was running thru my mind all day. Placed our order and was then invited by our waiter to go over to the salad bar. It was dark, dismal & closed. My heart sank to the depths of my soul. The waiter apologized for unknowingly advising us to the packed up salad bar, saying he’d bring salads out. Wow, did he bring the salads!! This waiter not only brought out salads, but he created a gorgeous spread of all the sides, veggies, eggs and toppings. I couldn’t believe it, he hit a home run and a grand slam in customer service and for that I recommend Cork & Cleaver! Clearly they take care of their customers!! Exceptional Service! A++“

“Saturday night we dined (after a rather lengthy wait). We understood, it was Saturday night after all, but early in the evening. We were a party of 6 celebrating my 92nd birthday. We ordered and received our salads in a timely manner. The first 3 orders were served and then a terrific crash. Turned out it my 2 daughters and my dinners. The manager came made his apologies and indicated there would be an adjustment to compensate for our wait, by the time our food arrived the rest of our party had nearly finished their meal. We spent a lot of money and I feel some sort of compensation should have been offered. I understand accidents happen but I felt rushed after the delay,. Just thought you should know. Our server was excellent, no fault with her, sorry didn't get her name.“

The staff was very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable and made me an extremely delicious salad that I was able to eat without having any symptoms! “This place was great. They went out of their way to accommodate our party, even creating an “off menu” item we could order for one person with some sensitivities. The room was a little chilly - we had not said anything but they noticed and turned the air off over our table. The food was fantastic and super fairly priced. Wish we had a place like this near us. The food is always fantastic and today was no different. The service is always with a smile, and all the servers came out with fried ice cream for my twin brother and me and sang the traditional Mexican birthday greeting. I love Cucos and always will. This is the ONLY Mexican Restaurant in Montgomery that I know of that serves black beans as an option to refried beans.“

They run out some of the food but pretzel bun sandwich is a hit. But the food portion is not big so we ordered second plate.
