“We visited today. It wasn't busy. We got a Bacon Bomb and a Plain Jane. We got a side of fries and Mac and cheese. Everything was delicious. We sat at the bar and enjoyed a beer with our food. Josh was great.

“Absolutely incredible experience here. We got shrimp, fries, Cajun sauced fries, Cajun sauced chicken, fried pickles, fried okra, drinks, and banana pudding. Even the sweet tea had such an incredible flavor to it. I have absolutely nothing negative to say, and all of the people working here seemed to really enjoy being here. This is probably one of my favorite meals I’ve ever had, and that’s saying a lot. Cannot wait to come back here and try more things from the menu. Also, we got all of that food for under $50. “ADA VIOLATION AND DISCRIMINATION 04/14/2023 09:37 pm Steak and Shake University Drive location Huntsville, Alabama Manager? Wearing green long sleeve cooking hamburgers @ 09:30ish this evening. Discriminates against deaf and walks away and refuses to serve the deaf. Made no attempt to provide accommodation to communicate, even though a text message option was offered to him. That is a SERIOUS ADA violation. He does not belong there. The other employees are always accommodating and polite. This man needs to be FIRED! Deaf accessibility Communication disabled due to deafness. Manager wearing green shirt cooking burgers at 09:30 pm on Friday, April 14, 2023 has no time nor willingness to deal with the deaf!!!!!!! Violation of ADA federal laws of providing public services to people of all abilities. This NEEDS the attention of District or Regional Managers or OWNER!!!! This IS a FEDERAL violation to refuse to provide a public service. Further, it was humiliating to be singled out due to being deaf on a busy Friday night. Their lobby was full of patrons both adults and children present. This is discrimination and violated every ounce of dignity. The deaf bleed red and have a right to work, eat in public places, and be treated as a human being like other able bodied hearing people. Thankfully, the regular staff member was kind enough to assist me and read my text message for assistance. She kindly assisted me and double checked my order to make sure everything was accounted for. She should be the manager there, not that foolish one who is too arrogant to know that the ADA Federal protects all people's ability to access all public services and products. I wish I stopped long enough to get her name, but I left too quickly because I felt so humiliated and bullied by her manager.“

“The Clift Farm location always provides tasty food and great service. Yet each time we go, the portion of Fries gets smaller. A large fry here leaves no leftovers. Other locations a medium leaves some leftover.

Update. After 2 weeks their fries are back to normal sizes.“

“Me and some coworkers went here for lunch. I was told this was a dinner with some Korean food added in. We were promptly seated and handed one hand written daily menu with the Meat Special of the day (which was Meatloaf), along with the available sides. There were two menus clipped to the wall but three members in our party. I stole one from a nearby table without anyone noticing. The prices seemed very reasonable ($10~) for most lunch items. They serve Coke products (no Coke Zero, sadly). Our orders were promptly taken.

I ordered some 'Pot Sticker' (4) with soy sauce and a Club Sandwich. I usually order a Club Sandwich to evaluate a diner, but I'm also a fan of Pot stickers and a fatty so I grabbed some of those as well. My faithful companions ordered a Happy Burger and a Philly Cheese Steak. The sandwiches didn't say that they came with fries (unlike other menu items), so that was an unexpected bonus.

The wait staff was pleasant but not exactly friendly. My food came out after an interminable time. The Pot sticker was... not good. Probably the second worst Pot stickers/dumplings/goyza that I've ever had. My wife is half asian and her mom ran multiple Chinese food restaurants whens he was growing up, so I eat them.fairly often both frozen and in restaurants (as well as home made when I visit the Mother in Law) and these dumplings were bad. The 'soy sauce' was worse. I could only identify it as soy sauce because the menu said the pot stickers came with soy sauce. When I dunked half a pot sticker in the sauce it came up stained black like a sinners soul and the sauce tasted like fish sauce or motor oil. To sanity check, I insisted one of my coworkers also try one and they were also repulsed. Said it was horrible.

The rest of the food (at least main courses) were great! I enjoyed my club sandwich a lot. Little small, but cheese was melted and it was delicious. Fries looked like Ore-Ida very bright yellow) and came out without salt or seasoning but that was something I could fix with three generous shakes of a salt shaker.

My companions enjoyed their meal (a Happy burger and a Philly cheese steak) a lot. One said the Philly cheese steak was 7 or 8/10, the other said the burger was one of the best he'd had.

The interior was a little hot and stuff, interior a little dirty/greasy -- very much a 'greasy spoon'. There's a great value proposition as long as you avoid asian food, and the main courses are tasty. Give it a shot at least once.“

“Our work team had a group lunch at 1892 East Restaurant & Tavern this week. The restaurant worked with me to reserve a private room, make arrangements, and adapt to a date change. “I have been harsh in the past because of service, the long waiting times, the mood, the attitude. I have to say that over the past few months, they have had staff turnover and the improvements are incredible!! The people eating seem happier. When I am there for Door Dash, the waiting time is minimal, and recipients of the food seem much happier because we are getting better ratings as well. The staff is professional, respectful, friendly. The people dining in seem happier because the staff is letting them converse amongst themselves, not interfering with their dining experience like what was happening before. The improvements really show and I have to commend the staff and management! I would recommend delivery, online ordering or eating in the restaurant. I think you would be very pleased compared to anything you have had in the past.“

“This was my first time eating in a Whataburger, since I was 5 years old, when we stopped at one in Oklahoma on our way to visit family in California. Now, that was back in 1973, and I remember that my brother, and I hated it! Where we lived back then it was either McDonald's, or Henry's Hamburgers in our house, and Timmy, and I just weren't digging the mustard that they put on our burgers at the Whataburger in Oklahoma. So now we fast forward 50 years, and I thought that I'd give it another try. My wife was game, and so we came in a little bit after the lunch rush. The restaurant was very clean and everyone seemed friendly. Everything we ordered was fresh and plentiful. I'll say that it's not too bad, compared to my childhood experience. But, it would still not be one of my top choices on a place to eat. For me it would be more of a place I'd go to when I got tired of my regular rotation of places to eat, and wanted to substitute an alternative choice just to shake things up a little.“
