“Consistently good food and service plus it’s always clean! A great local business to support. Great portion sizes with cash prices (to avoid credit card fee) and you don’t even have to fight traffic because it’s right here in our backyard of Smiths Station!“
“The ambience and atmosphere of this 5 star restaurant gives the entire city of Columbus a new definition. The food was amazing! Mr. Logan was the absolute best. He was on point with our entire experience. He didn’t skip a beat. We will come back again.Parking: Easy to get in and out your vehicle“
“Would be 5 stars if they seasoned thier food. I ordered the shrimp and grits and it was unseason shrimp and no salt added grit cakes I asked for extra sauce and it was a upcharge, and the price is a bit much other than that the service and restaurant was excellent.Parking: It's typical down town broad way parking. I had to walk 2 blocks to find parking.“
“We ordered 2 of the fish sandwich meals. It was barely battered and had no flavor whatsoever!!! But the fries were good!! We always get the burgers, but I seen the commercials about this GREAT COD SANDWICH!!! Nope! It's not all that!!! Walmart sells a better cod!!! As my wife says ' If it's not broke don't fix it!!!' Hope this help someone!!“
“I had a delightful dining experience at The Animal Farm in Columbus, GA on October 7th. The restaurant's lively atmosphere, combined with an ongoing event, "Happy," added to the overall enjoyment of our visit. We decided to start with drinks and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of our choices. The Moscow Mule and Planter's Punch, priced at $6 each, were both fantastic. For appetizers, we opted for the pigs in the blanket, which were packed with flavor. Our only wish was that they came in a larger portion, as we savored every bite of the $7 dish. The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the braised beef pasta, priced at $25. I can confidently say it's the best meal I've ever had. The flavors in this dish were outstanding and left a lasting impression. Our waiter provided excellent service, though we regrettably didn't catch his name. My boyfriend ordered the prime ribeye for $36, and it didn't disappoint. The flavorful meat, complemented by the delectable potato gratin, made for a memorable main course. We couldn't resist trying two desserts. The banana pudding stole the show with its irresistible taste. On the other hand, the chocolate peanut butter pie, while good, didn't quite reach the same level of delight and likely won't be a repeat order for us. Overall, our experience at The Animal Farm was exceptional, with stand-out dishes like the braised beef pasta and the banana pudding. We left with satisfied taste buds and a desire to return for more culinary adventures.“
“First time here....had appetizer fried green tomatoes and crab cake, 2 waters, ribeye with Mac n cheese and brussel sprouts and double bone in pork chop with Mac n cheese, strawberry cheesecake. Food was very good! Cheesecake is phenomenal but should be expected because dessert at some of the other local fine dining spots that have the same owner, are also phenomenal! I'm very picky about mac n cheese but this was very good, appropriately cheesy and seasoned well. Pork chop and the sauce was delicious! My husband loved his crab cake and grits appetizer. Our friends really liked their buffalo chicken dip appetizer! The place had a line as soon as they opened at 5pm on Saturday and filled up quick!! Waiter was so nice and made sure everything was just how we wanted it, I wish I remembered his name! Definitely will go back!!“
“This isn't a fancy restaurant, but the food will not disappoint. The Pineapple Casserole is delicious, I recommend trying it. The hamburgers looked pretty good, but I decided to go with the Grouper Sandwich, the fish was cooked perfect and crunchy on the outside. I had a taste of the coleslaw which I wish I had ordered a side of it. My friend ordered the meatloaf and wow, wow, wow was it delicious. I honestly don't think you can order anything off the menu and not like it. Kudos to the cooks.“
“This has become our brunch spot before heading home after an annual conference we attend in Columbus. Never disappointed with the service or food. During our last visit, Hanna was great. Attentive and very sweet! Can’t wait to come back on our next trip“
“Looking for somewhere to snag dinner that tastes amazing and is a good bang for your buck? Stop here! Laid back, easy environment. Bbq and tasty drinks galore! All of their menu items are delicious. We have tried just about everything. The staff are friendly, patient, and on it. This has quickly become our favorite spot to snag dinner. Don’t forget to get extra white sauce and try their bushwacker with a salted caramel floater! You won’t be disappointed!“
“I was house sitting for a friend who lives nearby and thought I'd check out 219 while I was in the neighborhood. I'm so glad I did! I went twice. The first visit I got the River Burger. It was delicious. The fries were great. The second time I went, I got the Meat Lovers Flatbread Pizza. It was so good! I would make the drive back out there to eat there again. The food is great! The service and atmosphere were great, too. Check them out! They're really busy, so make a reservation if you have more than 4 people.“
“We had a lovely time at theCannon Brewpub! Our server was fantastic! So kind and cheerful. She took a picture of myself and my four grandchildren…she was so awesome! It’s one of my favorite pictures and I wish I could thank her again. The food was delicious. I had a Dr. Schley‘s chicken sandwich; marinated grilled chicken breast, smoked bacon, Swiss and cheddar cheese, lettuce tomato on a bun…very good.I would definitely recommend!Kid-friendliness: They had crayons with coloring sheets“
“Beautiful decor nice employees tasty food me and my husband went the other day for a date. Delicious we had the stake and cheese sandwich and fries so yummy big enough for 2. only cost 10 dollars can't beat it was my first time loved it can't wait to bring our five teenagers with next time .Very clean very fresh delicious food very pleasant atmosphere I love the furniture it's like a beautiful log cabin inside so cool!“
“Food is okay. Squash is always good. However, the other vegetables aren’t as good. Cabbage taste gross & the noodles from the Mac & cheese is always over cooked. Idk if it sits on the line too long or what but if they can make those small changes i would literally eat here everyday.“
“Great restaurant located on edge Of beautiful lake, Outdoor seating under covered patio on second level overlooking lake, I had Chicken bacon spinach wrap with half Cobb salad. Both well prepare and delicious service was quick and friendly. House made ranch dressing well prepared and delicious. A nice place to enjoy lunch with a pleasant view of waterway“
“Been in business over 100 years. A chattahoochee valley tradition. Had the steak sandwich and brought back memories of my youth. During the depression in the 30's they sold hot dogs with half Frank's. You can still get them today if you want. All the old buildings in front have been torn down, so not really hidden anymore.“
“My waitress Unique was such a wonderful person! She made the experience so welcoming! She was very kind, attentive and overall worked hard to ensure quality service! The establishment was kept in good condition and was clean and organized. The food was well done and nothing out of the ordinary. Best part is they didn't mess up my order! Would definitely come again!“
“Ok so honest review… the food has always been hot outside of the sides. The sides, if you don’t ask for them to be dropped fresh may come heat lamp warm, the fries especially. The flavor of the fish and chicken have been hot and delicious! The customer service is not bad but if you come sideways don’t expect “the customer is always right” service. Some people come in there ghetto and rude. The lunch specials are my fav! Try them out. Please be advised the menu prices have went up. For ex. The tilapia 12 piece alone with no sides is 44.99… 49.38 with tax…“
“Very clean and nice place!! My first time I was pretty impressed with the appearance of the place, the kindness of the staff, friendliness of customers, drinks were good. I did not eat anything but someone nearby had Swedish meatballs and they were happy with that.“
“Came on Christmas thinking I wouldn’t even be able to get in; yes it had a ton of customers sitting and waiting for their to go orders or sitting at their tables but the speed, accuracy, atmosphere, and character of the employees here was amazing!! Highly recommend this location! Any day of the year.“
“When I say I have never been to a Waffle House that has 4 stars. The staff was amazing the food was delicious Nicole was very nice and professional so sweet. I came down from Atlanta and I wish we had a good nice Waffle House. I will be back to this location.“
“My first time. The ambiance is good. Tables are in a nice and not crowded arrangement. Limited vegetarian/vegan options. Overall a good family dining experience. Enjoyed the draft beer from Multitude. Price is on the high side. $$Parking: If lot is full parking available across street in Winn Dixie parking lot.“
“Very cool place to grab a great meal. The service was A+, the food was delicious, and the restaurant/ store was just cool. I brought 5 teens as we drove on a road trip, and all 5 loved the food. I highly recommend trying if your in East Alabama.“
“I can't speak on the service or ambiance because this order was a pick up however, the food was pretty good. I had the grilled shrimp and they were seasoned to perfection. As my side I ordered cheese grits, They could have used a little salt in my opinion but they were still good. My plate also came with coleslaw and hush puppies. The hush puppies were delicious.“
“Great place! Has a bunch of different games, and no drama. Also has good food, with decent prices. The only negative thing I can say is the smoke was pretty heavy and there was two different songs playing at the same time. Other than that it was a good place. If I ever come in Georgia again this will be my go to place.“
“We had an amazing experience. Luckily didn't wait long but I've heard it's usually a good wait. But the hostess and server was by far the most friendly waitstaff we've ever had!! William (our server) was awesome!! The food came quickly and was delicious!!! Thanks for the outstanding service!!“
“This place was absolutely amazing and super convenient from my work place. Had the oysters, crab cakes and a Stockyard burger. The crab cakes were soft and very well seasoned. The burger was great and the bacon jam was one of the best I've ever tried. The server, John was super friendly, funny and fast. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience and flavors of the food. Definitely looking forward to my next visit!“
“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Waffle House on North Veterans Parkway in Columbus, GA, and I must say, Jalen, our server, made the experience truly exceptional. From the moment we sat down, his infectious humor had us laughing non-stop throughout our meal. Not only did he provide top-notch service, but he also went above and beyond by surprising my daughter with a Waffle House hat, which she absolutely loved! Jalen's warmth, humor, and attention to detail truly made our visit memorable. I highly recommend Waffle House on North Veterans Parkway and specifically request Jalen for a delightful dining experience. Five stars all the way!“
“We stopped here for waffles and coffee to-go while on a road trip. Sissy provided wonderful customer service. The waffle was made promptly and was delicious. The restaurant and restrooms were clean. The encounter with Sissy made it a memorable experience at the Waffle House.“
“Everything was nice. Went on a Tuesday to catch their $5 patron margaritas and they did not disappoint!! I was unaware of their tacos so I ordered fish and wings and it was good for the price! Friends said the burgers are good too! I just expected a crowd but it was just a few tables of “
“Saturday my husband and I were visiting family and looking for a place for lunch. The place we were originally going to was closed. I am not a huge breakfast eater, and unfortunately this place only serves breakfast on Saturday. I opted for a BLT. however, no fries, no tater tots or anything that wasn't breakfast. The sandwich was ok. The employees were very nice. My husband and I like supporting businesses that support veterans (husband is one), and public safety (I worked in the public safety arena as well as my dad was a police officer). We hope to go back and try something else on the menu....that isn't breakfast....lol“
