“My family and I love this spot. Small spot with big flavors. I always have to get a plate of the hash browns. If you are ever in the Valley Head area, you definitely need to stop in for a bite to eat. The staff is always very friendly and respectful. No bad words to speak of this spot.“

“We arrived in town and found this place and we were able to get a reservation the same night. We came with a family of 5 with 3 kids. The farm to table experience was a first and we loved it. The atmosphere, staff, and food were all amazing. Our kids even loved the food which is rare. Definitely would recommend this place.“

Just good food and a wind down spot where you and your guests would enjoy a well prepared meal.Kid-friendliness: Well....our waitress had her toddler with her. Patrons were mostly senior citizens but there were a few children.“

“I just moved to Flat Rock, AL about 6 months ago and happened to find Howard's on my way to Ft Payne. I eat here about twice a week because it's SO good. The food is always hot and fresh on the buffet, homemade and delicious. The burger off the menu is always good too. My kids pick Howard's over any other place when we go out to eat. The staff is super friendly and we're treated like family each and every time we are here. My daughter is visually impaired and they do anything they can to accommodate her. This place is hands down my favorite.“

“We always come to Wildflower Cafe when we stay in DeSoto State Park. It’s a very cozy quaint little restaurant and shop!! The food is amazing, the staff is super friendly and the art is beautiful!! I usually get the quiche, but have had the tomato pie is great too! They have a sampler platter that is wonderful if you don’t know what you eat!! The peanutbutter pie is delicious!!!Highly recommend the Wildflower Cafe!!“

“Service was top of the line. We came in at 6:30 on a Friday evening with a party of 23 several of which were children. Carissa, our server, remembered everyone's drink order with no pad, which was impressive. She then went on to take everyone's food order with substitutions and adjustments without writing anything down! She even noticed one person in our party ordered his salad without onions, so she asked him later if he also wanted his entree without onions. Everything came out perfect. Absolutely amazing service!“
