Absolutely one of my favorite restaurants on Earth. Very welcoming and, of course, delicious. Be aware though- the language and cultural barrier is very real. I really don't want to give this away but you're almost guaranteed to have your food pointed at and be asked "pork?" several times. A great lunch with a gracious host, Grace. We came at the end of lunch service on a sunny Saturday afternoon, but we were welcomed and coached through the menu. She asked us how spicy we wanted it, and we chose the kimchi stew and the beef soup. We were brought a variety of banchan of pickles, beansprouts, radishes, dried seaweed and kimchi. If you go without a reservation, you will have to wait at least 30 minutes!! It's a good Jjambbong restaurant, but the prices are a bit expensive. However, this restaurant is recommended to everyone who lives here.
