“My family and I were traveling through Auburn from out of town and it was recommended to me that this place was the best soul food spot and it did not disappoint. That chicken and fish was seasoned so durn good lol The customer service was great from the owner, the cashier, and the man who came and cleaned up our table. “We have NEVER had a mediocre meal, it’s always EXCELLENT. We are beyond blessed in the area where we reside (Auburn) to have many fine dining establishments, so it’s very competitive. In my opinion, THE WAVERLY LOCAL is always the most consistent and adds a welcome laid back atmosphere. It’s always my first choice if we can get a reservation.“
