“My family and I were traveling through Auburn from out of town and it was recommended to me that this place was the best soul food spot and it did not disappoint. That chicken and fish was seasoned so durn good lol The customer service was great from the owner, the cashier, and the man who came and cleaned up our table. I will definitely recommend and go back.“

“The food was amazing, it’s one of the cleanest options for food around, way fresher than places like Chipotle. The employees are extremely nice too, the one with the big beard was extremely kind as well, it’s a nice place to go that’s not too much like a restaurant but also quick and easy.“

“We have NEVER had a mediocre meal, it’s always EXCELLENT. We are beyond blessed in the area where we reside (Auburn) to have many fine dining establishments, so it’s very competitive. In my opinion, THE WAVERLY LOCAL is always the most consistent and adds a welcome laid back atmosphere. It’s always my first choice if we can get a reservation.“
