“This is a all around local trip to a Louisiana kitchen right in your hometown. My experience with most locations, the flavor, and freshness is pretty consistent. Usually, a few minutes wait in the dine area. Usually, you can count on a 5 - to 10-minute wait in the drive-through. But folks understand, it's not a wait because the employees don't have it together, it's because they are making your shrimp and chicken absolutely fresh every time for everyone. So be patient. It's always worth it. One thing they could improve that for me has been a consistent problem is in the drive through, after that long wait for awesome food, they frequently forget to give napkins and disposable utensils and this never gets noticed until I'm down the road. Other than that, keep up the great, friendly service.“
“We have eaten here several times and love it. The fried okra is always cooked to perfection and their gravy is amazing. Who needs bbq sauce when you can get gravy? I really need to try the Nashville Sandwich, but the tenders dipped in gravy is just too irresistible. Oh, they have desserts in Mason jars like strawberry cheesecake. “We have lived here for 15 years and just tried this place for the first time. I’m from Michigan. We have a place called Chicken Shack up there. They broast (pressure fry) their food. It was my absolute favorite place to get chicken and I haven’t been able to find a place that compared until now. Not sure if they have the same cooking method, but the results are the same! I wish we would have tried this place sooner. It’s fantastic! We will definitely be back!“
“Saw Chicken Country on line and decided to try it. We were traveling and hungry for chicken. The place is small, old fashioned and rustic. We were a little hesitant to try it but glad we did. The chicken was delicious and moist. The two potato salads were very good as was the cole slaw. We would definitely go back. The lady serving the food was nice and very helpful!“

“I went pretty basic with this order and order the tenders and fries, I have not eaten there before, so I thought I would play it safe. The tenders are pretty good, it tastes like a standard tender. They are not dry at all, and not too wet either, I ordered it with Ranch and the ranch thing is was basically the same as many other retailer ranches like they use in red Robin, so pretty good Ranch choice. The fries were OK nice and crispy, not too salty, seasoned very well. It also came with a slice of Texas toast cut in half down the middle, I’m not sure why chicken places have the chicken tenders come with a slice of Texas toast, I’m not familiar with this, but no complaints here it was very nicely toasted and you can taste the butter. So is it any good? Yes it is good for what it is, although the flavors are basically basic. I’d write this a four out of five stars. I’ll definitely be going back to try some other items.“
“The staff went above and beyond with their service. From greeting me when I walked in. To helping me make my meal fit my dietary requirements. They got me my drink from the self-serve fountain in the lobby and held the doors open for me as I left. And the food tasted great. Thank you, Zaxby staff, for making my visit so enjoyable. ?“
“This is a good restaurant. I would have give it 5 stars, but I used the app for the first time and seen Funnel Cakes and ordered 2 of them for the grandkids. When I got home with order I was disappointed that they were only 3.5 - 4 inches. They appeared much larger in the app. The rest of the food was very good.“
