“This place is super unique, the inside is so eclectic with tons of antique bikes, motors, watches etc. the view from the dining room is absolutely beautiful on the river with the big windows. We went two separate times, the second time our waitress was very attentive. The salad bar was very good. Food was only ok, I've had better and was a little pricey for the quality. The animals across the street was a treat after dinner. Overall pretty nice experience, just didn't give it 5 stars because the food was only ok.“

“Connie’s is always a go to place for me when I’m wanting breakfast and lunch. Can get everything on the menu during any time while they’re open. The specials are always something different and exciting. Just today I had the sticky pork special and it’s the best thing I’ve ever eaten.“

“The Salad was very simple, it could use some tomato and cucumber. I had the Carolina Burger the young lady at the cash register recommended it, I would definitely say that it was good but the meat on the burger was kind a dry, I could not really tasted the meat , the slice brisket was good, and the Carolina sauce was a little too sweet for my taste! I’ll definitely come back for the sampler !!“

“Visited Gaston's on 9 Aug, 2024 with my nephew. We felt 24 was the best landing and 06 the best takeoff. On the 06 takeoff, there are a few trees to your left that you will need to sidestep and establish a positive right turn climb as soon as possible. Use all of the available grass unless your in a low speed take off plane. Food was great, waitress was AWESOME and the restaurant atmosphere was perfect.“
