“Only giving four stars instead of five because I ordered hot fudge in my sonic brownie blast, paid the extra 30 cents and there was no hot fudge in it at all. Not really upset or anything, I get that mistakes happen, it's just happened twice now. The car-hop server Moriah was very nice and had a positive attitude for how busy it was, she had to run our card inside because the touch screen payment option was not working at all after several attempts. Food is always tasty!“

“So I took a peak at some of the more recent, lower star reviews. As well as the recent higher rated reviews. As I’m righting this at 11:24am on 8/29, I just ordered a cheeseburger and Cajun fries, no drink bc it’s 100° outside lol I’ve got water!
Long story short, I’ve been In and out of the food industry for over a decade, I just switched fields 3 months ago. So this is for the lower rated reviews: hopefully you all can be understanding of the fact that things change. Specially in food service. Like the stock market, it goes up and down, good and bad. King Kone isn’t relative to a J&S Italian Villa, or the Vault, or even delucas or Rocky’s. It’s a mom and pop stop. There’s not 20 ppl on staff there’s probably barely 5 people working if that. So if your food didn’t come out as you hoped or your drinks or desserts, I’m sure if you mentioned it to the staff they could correct it, or refund your money. But to leave a review after you’ve likely eaten your whole meal, I find it hard to believe that it was completely horrible. I’ve also heard there’s new owners now. Idk how long they have taken over, but maybe the owners are new to food service. Maybe it’s as simple as the cooks or server having a bad or off day.
I work across the street and everyday I go to work or walk past there it is always busy 9 times outta 10. That’s just my two sense. Everyone, everything deserves a 2nd chance, even a 3rd.“

“A really good place to eat, whether you were hungry, or want a snack, or want a sweet treat or a drink. Always a great place to stop.
2 months later....edit. I ordered three crunchy chicken strips, one of them was honestly like one bite-size, is there any chance I could get a coupon for one free chicken strip? That's all. Have a blessed day“

“I have been to this location many times, the food is always fresh, ready in a timely manner, and when the Manger Melissa is on duty,I have always receive friendly and professional service. This is my go to place for lunch, even when I'm in a hurry.“

“The food was fine. The dining area, however, is a completely different situation. There so many flies they were landing all over me and my children. The floor was LITTERED with food and trash. I'm a manager at Taco Bell and this NEVER happens at my store because we know it takes 5 seconds to sweep and wipe down. Something McDonalds on Malvern Ave sorely needs to learn.“

“You can’t not go to Sonic, but you can critique an item or an experience if needed. I was looking forward to trying the bacon jam burger. The patty was so over cooked I could barely gnaw through it bite by bite. And don’t expect that beautiful thick layer of bacon jam you see on the commercial. What a disappointment.“
