We went close to closing time and there was no line, and no wait. :)(:
I had ordered the guacamole, but he was very honest and told me it wasn't good to use (remember, this is a good truck, so the heat can get to fruit really fast), and replaced it with queso. Which was fine. Because the queso was actually really good.
The salsa was spicy, but was delicious, the green salsa was amazing and not spicy.

10/10 even the chips were seasoned and tasted so good it’s hard now a days to find a good taco truck and his was just perfect the communication was perfect as well very nice and handled my food with care

Salt & Pepper is a food truck that serves up delicious meals. The steak asada tacos were an easy 10/10. The steak was perfectly grilled, super tender with just the right crispy edge. The tacos came with a salsa verde that had a nice bright and fresh flavor, plus a red salsa that was sweet, tangy, smoky, and spicy all at once. The queso birrias and guac were sooooo fire. The queso was actually really good, and the quesa-brilla with the corn tortillas was amazing. The salsa was sweet and flavorful, and the aju sauce made the meat so good and not dry at all. The steak fries are the bomb, and even the chips were seasoned and tasted so good. The salsa was spicy but delicious, and the green salsa was amazing and not spicy. The service was great, and the communication was perfect, handling food with care. There is no outside seating, and it is right off of Cantrell, so an extremely busy road. There is no kids menu, but they do have quesadillas. As for drinks, they have glass bottle sodas and bottled water. It was actually really good.
