“I don't normally do such a review for fine dining but my wife and I attended a special event where Duckhorn Wines and Chef Gentry at the Lobbyist put on a very unique feast. I'm not a wine expert by any means but the Duckhorn wines selected fit the menu perfectly with a 4 course meal that included octopus and fresh cabbage to start, and perfectly prepared beef cheek for the main. The Lobbyist source their food supplies from local farms which it shows both in appearance and taste. The event was sponsored by Buster's Liquor, an icon in Memphis for the selection and price. The seating was an open table making it a fun evening where we met and made new friends. Check them out for a special date with your better half.“

“This is a pretty cool spot. The burgers are spot on, check and see what the special burgers are. The beer selection is huge, they have something for everybody's taste. “It’s always a fun time at Fat Tuesdays! The servers are always so friendly and fun! It’s a super dope atmosphere always! I love the new food items like the pizza and mozzarella sticks and of course the drinks are hitting! Always great fun at Fat Tuesdays!“

“Great cigar lounge and bar. This place has a cozy atmosphere and friendly locals. The bar tender “Dee” was very friendly and mixed several nice drinks. The bar specializes as a Bourbon bar but also caters to other drinks as well. The bourbon selection was impressive, and I was able to get three whiskeys that I’ve sought out for years, including Weller full proof and Weller Antique. The owner introduced himself and several of the locals would share a story or two around the bar. We stayed for hours longer than planned and enjoyed watching sports on the tv over the bar. If you would like to enjoy a cigar and a nice whiskey, I wouldn’t hesitate recommending this establishment. The friendly and knowledgeable staff and locals make for a pleasant evening.“

If you are from West Memphis were ever a Blue Devil (The High School mascot here in West Memphis),or from Marion you will see your school represend here from the 60s till present.Its casual and laid back just the perfect place to let your hair down relax and have a good time. “I came to Itta Bena for my birthday last year and it was so good, I didn’t even hesitate to come again this year. The food and service is always incredible. Everyone is so kind. The experience is welcoming and professional from the moment you approach the host/hostess to the moment you get the check. “Gorgeous place. The atmosphere is its own vibe. My man and I have been here multiple times. Each time we fall more in love. This is our bar. We live in Bartlett. We always have a lovely time. If we do anything in midtown or downtown we always stop here after or before. The drink menu is perfect. We love the Beef Wellington. I love the drink hold onto your britches. Oh and order a green tea shot. Omg! Thank me later. It’s always clean. The staff is awesome never had any issues.“

“Every time i visit Memphis I Love staying at the Hu Hotel. The reason I started staying here is the amazing rooftop bar. A huge standout bartender for me is Malika. When I enter the bar she already knows what I drink and has a very friendly demeanor. We almost catch up where we left off on a previous conversation. You can not beat a experience like that especially when traveling… even if you visit the city often. I will keep being a guest at this bar anytime I am in Memphis.“

“I came to support a group of students earlier this week to celebrate winning king and queen of the school. First of all let me say the staff was very rude to the administration staff. Even though reservations were made and confirmed and they knew in advance that the students were coming they refused to seat our party and denied the reservations ever being made even after being shown the email messages. The female manager asked for us to wait outside of the restaurant being that it was about 42 degrees that day until the limousine arrived to pick the students back up . The children were dressed in their Sunday best with white dresses and the young boys were in tuxedos and were looking forward to having their luncheon that was awarded to them for their hard work at school. I strongly believe that if the students were not all African American and staff as well they would have treated us differently. I will never ever support nor spend money with Majestic Grill again. I was hurt the way they treated these students who worked oh so hard and were looking forward to what was supposed to be a special day to remember.“

“My partner (who’s not vegan) and I shared the not beef sliders, buffalo chickn sliders (the only two slider options), and the tofu/cauli wings. We both thought it was all delicious and very filling! “If you want to have a fine dining experience, but without the intimidating atmosphere then this is the place to go. My wife and I were greeted warmly by the staff and our waitress explained the menu very well. My wife started with the corn soup and had scallops for the entree and I had the beef tar tar and the aged new York strip. The soup was great and the bites of lobster was lovely. The beef tar tar was rich but it came with baby endive that was dressed with lemon that balanced the whole dish. The scallops were great and they were very accommodating to cook the scallops a bit more for my wife due to pregnancy. The steak had an amazing peppercorn crust that was amazing but maybe a tad bit over salted for me. We ended the night with the carrot cake which ended our experience on a high note. Overall we will definitely come again and try the other amazing dishes they have to offer!“
