“I came to support a group of students earlier this week to celebrate winning king and queen of the school. First of all let me say the staff was very rude to the administration staff. Even though reservations were made and confirmed and they knew in advance that the students were coming they refused to seat our party and denied the reservations ever being made even after being shown the email messages. The female manager asked for us to wait outside of the restaurant being that it was about 42 degrees that day until the limousine arrived to pick the students back up . The children were dressed in their Sunday best with white dresses and the young boys were in tuxedos and were looking forward to having their luncheon that was awarded to them for their hard work at school. I strongly believe that if the students were not all African American and staff as well they would have treated us differently. I will never ever support nor spend money with Majestic Grill again. I was hurt the way they treated these students who worked oh so hard and were looking forward to what was supposed to be a special day to remember.“

It was crunchy and creamy perfection. I also recommend the bruschetta and the calamari starters. Your staff was so engaging and they made my birthday so much fun. They took the time to answer questions, even about the restaurant itself and artwork. Very engaging and professional. We will be back because this is now my favorite restaurant!“

“Probably the only coffee bar that's worth visiting in downtown Memphis (was coffee bar hopping during my Memphis visit for work). Seating space is a bit limited though but still nicely open and lit. They seem to rotate their specialty mixed coffee drinks pretty often but they probably made the frothiest cappuccino I've had across the US (orange marmalade capp). They were also the only coffee bar I found that did pour overs.“

The staff was great, beer was good as always, and the pizza was delicious. I also highly recommend the Gotta Get Up to Get Down Affogato! First Review: I had high expectations and wanted to love this pizza, but this is a far cry from the quality that Hog & Hominy used to provide. We got The Road of Excess and Table 55 pizzas. They were so incredibly salty that they were inedible. I’m not sure if it was the sauce or crust, but the mountain of Parmesan cheese on top was likely a contributing factor. H&H can’t reopen soon enough!“

“First of all—the concept? A+++.

This place has that perfect balance of fun and flavor. The atmosphere is lively with personality—Soul/R&B playing, throwback movies on the TV—it feels like a spot that really comes alive on the weekends.

I went with the fish dinner (was tempted by the pasta, but note: it’s only available Thursdays and Fridays), and it did notdisappoint. Perfectly seasoned, crispy on the outside, juicy and flaky on the inside—easily one of the best fish dinners I’ve had on the road.

And the fries? Best we’ve had traveling. Hands down.

My partner ordered a cheesesteak and a cheeseburger—both well-seasoned, generous portions, and clearly made with care.

They also have a really fun “Spring Splashers” drink concept—three non-alcoholic berry drinks. I got the Peach Berry Splash and loved it. As you sip and mix it, real pieces of fruit come through the straw—super refreshing, especially if you’re not drinking.

And to top it off, everything was served with a genuine smile.

“My best friend and I brought our teens to Memphis to see a concert at the Cannon Center. I learned the hard way the last trip by renting an Airbnb and parking on the street. Long story short, my car was stolen and it was a huge ordeal. We decided on a hotel and valet parking where the car would be safe in a locked fence! We are so happy we chose the Moxy. Our children are lovers of music, and were thrilled that they could play the available instruments and large vinyl collection. There was also free pinball and many games. They had a blast! The location is right next to Main Street and was a nice walk to the venue and restaurants. Jason and Diamond gave us excellent customer service as well. This will be my go-to place in Memphis!“

“2nd time in Memphis. The Green Beetle is our Memphis hometown bar! Great food, reasonable prices, and the clientele is a great mix of out of towners and locals! The staff is awesome! Randy the bartender is great!“

“First time customer we went on a whim, one very late morning as we were passing thru Memphis on our way to Dallas,Texas. They must be popular around the area because most of their donut selection was sold out around 10 am that morning. Though we did a few items, we tried their sugar coated twist, maple (light brown frosting)looking twist, coffee and pig in blankets all were delicious and very affordable. Customer service was was great too. I will definitely go back if ever in the area again.“
