“First of all—the concept? A+++.

This place has that perfect balance of fun and flavor. The atmosphere is lively with personality—Soul/R&B playing, throwback movies on the TV—it feels like a spot that really comes alive on the weekends.

I went with the fish dinner (was tempted by the pasta, but note: it’s only available Thursdays and Fridays), and it did notdisappoint. Perfectly seasoned, crispy on the outside, juicy and flaky on the inside—easily one of the best fish dinners I’ve had on the road.

And the fries? Best we’ve had traveling. Hands down.

My partner ordered a cheesesteak and a cheeseburger—both well-seasoned, generous portions, and clearly made with care.

They also have a really fun “Spring Splashers” drink concept—three non-alcoholic berry drinks. I got the Peach Berry Splash and loved it. As you sip and mix it, real pieces of fruit come through the straw—super refreshing, especially if you’re not drinking.

And to top it off, everything was served with a genuine smile.

“I came to support a group of students earlier this week to celebrate winning king and queen of the school. First of all let me say the staff was very rude to the administration staff. Even though reservations were made and confirmed and they knew in advance that the students were coming they refused to seat our party and denied the reservations ever being made even after being shown the email messages. The female manager asked for us to wait outside of the restaurant being that it was about 42 degrees that day until the limousine arrived to pick the students back up . The children were dressed in their Sunday best with white dresses and the young boys were in tuxedos and were looking forward to having their luncheon that was awarded to them for their hard work at school. I strongly believe that if the students were not all African American and staff as well they would have treated us differently. I will never ever support nor spend money with Majestic Grill again. I was hurt the way they treated these students who worked oh so hard and were looking forward to what was supposed to be a special day to remember.“

“Thank you Cocozza for such a great time! Your sauce is better than mine and I loved the meatballs. I need recipes lol. That cannoli was the best too. Usually it is so chewy at other restaurants. It was crunchy and creamy perfection. I also recommend the bruschetta and the calamari starters. Your staff was so engaging and they made my birthday so much fun. They took the time to answer questions, even about the restaurant itself and artwork. Very engaging and professional. We will be back because this is now my favorite restaurant!“

“Everything about this place is wonderful. Great atmosphere, wonderful staff. Jordan, Ashley, and Haley were wonderful. It’s nice and clean and comfortable. Plenty of indoor and outdoor space and activities.

But whoever came up with the recipe for the jalepeno brew…. They deserve all the good things in life. This is the best beer I have ever had. It’s the best jalepeno flavored drink I’ve ever had, and I am completely obsessed.

“Dr. Beans Coffee and Tea Emporium is my new favorite go-to coffee spot in Downtown Memphis! I religiously order the Campfire Latte, and it never disappoints. Dr. Beans is located inside Stock & Belle, a locally sourced boutique that’s so fun to browse before or after your caffeine fix.

The staff is always incredibly warm and kind, and there’s plenty of parking nearby. I highly recommend grabbing your coffee and taking a stroll through the historic South Main District—it’s the perfect pairing!“

“Edit to my previous review: Little Bettie and Wiseacre handled everything promptly and exceptionally well. Came back in tonight and things were much improved! The staff was great, beer was good as always, and the pizza was delicious. I also highly recommend the Gotta Get Up to Get Down Affogato! First Review: I had high expectations and wanted to love this pizza, but this is a far cry from the quality that Hog & Hominy used to provide. We got The Road of Excess and Table 55 pizzas. They were so incredibly salty that they were inedible. I’m not sure if it was the sauce or crust, but the mountain of Parmesan cheese on top was likely a contributing factor. H&H can’t reopen soon enough!“

“Stopped at notes and provisions restaurant to eat breakfast every morning during my stay at the Crowne plaza hotel definitely I think the buffet style breakfast is an awesome idea there could be a few minor little things added to it for the price of $10 but if it continues like it is $7 is a very reasonable fee for people to totally eat up an awesome breakfast and the person that was helping to set things up and serve omelets and take care of people is got a really great personality and she's doing a great job and she totally could succeed with so much more with just a little help and it would be an awesome experience to have again thank you“

“We spent New Years Eve with the amazing people at Loflin. We bought our GA tickets and added a VIP table. We had an amazing time. The Neon Mooners band was just the right vibe for the night. Katie was our server the whole night and she was great. Super attentive and she listened to us talk and talk and talk. Also a huge shout out to Lily the bartender. She was super sweet! We will definitely be back!!“
