I walked in late on their last hour on a weekday night this week, and for the summer slow season, I was impressed. Most small business restaurants shorten their hours. (They are open until 9 pm

It felt like I was dining in their home by the decor, atmosphere, and especially the service. Pete, the chef/owners husband, takes pride in their family business and is exceptionally warm and hospitable with every guest!

My Pad Thai with beef was served with a generous helping of protein compared to all my past Thai restaurant experiences. Moreover, it was mouthwatering, the beef was SO tender, and the dish itself was not dry like some pad thai's.

I was so relaxed there I forgot to take photos beyond my food. But I will catch up when I return several times to devour the entire menu, one dish at a time!”

“Huge shoutout to The City Creamery in Cave Creek. We went on Monday and asked if they had licorice ice cream and they didn’t at the moment so the wonderful lady took my name and number said she would call me when they had some. She called me yesterday afternoon and today we made the trek to Cave Creek to get some wonderful ice cream and also bought two pints of licorice to bring home! They give military discounts too which is amazing because we all love a good business that loves our military and first responders! I highly recommend if you are looking for a delicious ice cream treat you head there and enjoy some fresh homemade ice cream!”

“I've been ordering 100% of my coffee from ROC2 for years because it's the absolute best! Also because the founder, David Anderson, and I go way back to when we were mountain biking buddies when he lived in Maryland, long before ROC2 was even a dream. My go-to blend is Black & Tan, and I rotate the Sumatra, Guatemalan, and Peruvian roasts which are always excellent. ROC2 beans are always in my cupboard. FIVE Stars all the way!!”

“Love this location because they don’t have a smoothie shop close to me. Everyone runs around this area so it’s perfect! Their drinks are seriously so good. The girls who run the shop with the owner are fantastic. Kid friendly environment & great choices. Again, it’s a great spot to have a shop like this! Very fair pricing!”

“Some of the reasons I love the Wagon Wheel; it is family owned and operated, delicious food, location, cleanliness and menu choices. If you want fancy linens and a bougie place this is not for you. If you want good, down to earth food and service Wagon Wheel will not disappoint.”

I have never had anything short of an exceptional experience, even the kids they hire get it, and are excellent employees. We make our weekly visit every Tuesday for $10 pies.”

“I went there with a large group (nearly 20) and we had the most wonderful time. The environment felt like a family dinner, the food like a home cooked meal. The highlight was by far the Cesar salad. The staff was amazing and friendly and made it a great night. The even accommodated us on short notice on a Saturday night.

The group I was with had just spent the day commemorating the life of a lost friend and dinner at your restaurant was really heartwarming and healing. Thank you Albert, Roberto and everyone else who served us.”

“A great neighborhood pizza place! They serve pizza by the slice for lunchtime at a great price. Barro’s on Cave Creek Rd is very supportive of local school groups like our high school band, and always willing to host a restaurant night to help us out. (Fast turn on getting the turnout numbers and check too) We absolutely love our local Barro’s Pizza! And yes, of course the pizza is delicious. Win-win for everyone, and scrumptious pizza. 🍕🍕❤️❤️”

“This location would be a 5 star, but the access to this location is terrible. There should be another drive through lane, or an additional window to accommodate the amount of traffic that this location gets. Their staff is pretty good for the most part. However, most are young or maybe newly trained; so it’s a mixed bag for customer experience.

“This was our 2nd time going to Buffalo Chip with our of town guests. Both times, WHAT A FUN EVENING!! We went on a Wednesday the first time. Had dinner & drinks in the restaurant, then you have to wait in line to get bull riding tickets. The line looks LOOOONG but it moved fast. Our server saved our table while we did that as everyone in the group needs to be there. We messed up here though because we should have gone right to the arena. Seating is first come and we didn’t get any seats. 2nd time we went for the VIP seating. SOOOOO VERY worth the extra costs. We were seated above the arena where we could stay, eat & drink and watch the show. They also had live music and line dancing. Such a different thing to do and everyone had a blast. Put on your boots and cowboy hat and get in to have fun here!!! We will be back!!!”
