“My mom made reservations for us at noon, and when it reached 12:15, we still had not had a server acknowledge us or take our drink orders so we waved the first one we saw over. She apologized profusely and took our drink orders even though she was not our waitress. She said she would find out what the issue was immediately. When she returned with our drinks, she apologized again and said there was a miscommunication and our server would be over momentarily. When our actual waiter came over, he also apologized multiple times and was very pleasant. He took our order and was very polite and conversational. When he served us our food, he also brought an additional appetizer (one that I had already eyeballed on the menu but decided against… the melon salad) as an apology for our wait. We had already forgiven him, but this went above and beyond and we were very impressed with the impeccable customer service.

We ordered the filet mignon skewers, served with Mediterranean rice and lentils with a side of chimichurri. It was PHENOMENAL. The flavor blew me away. We also ordered the spicy olive hummus which was also exceptional. And the melon salad that he comped was absolutely delicious.

I wish I remembered our servers name! We were there on 4/6/26 at noon, and we sat in the outdoor area.

Kudos to Pinyon and its staff for making what could have been a disappointing experience into an exceptional one!“

I figured a place slingin’ döner might leave the trail a little greasy, but this outpost was clean as a freshly swept saloon floor. To be fair, the joint was emptier than a desert watering hole at noon.

All fixtures were working and supplies were stocked, no misfires from the gear. Everything ready for business, even if the customers hadn’t rolled in yet.

Shelter & Showdown Factor
Quiet as a lone rider on the prairie with nobody else around. Plenty peaceful for a quick stop without any showdown at the stalls.

Malki, the owner, was working as usual and wearing many hats. She prepared the chicken shawarma as if she’d made it hundreds of times. It was quick and many others were right behind me waiting to put in. An order for the famous wrap. I like everything on it and extra spicy with the secret sauce. Pure deliciousness in every bite. Fast and friendly service and to top it all off, Malki is an awesome community member, participating in making the corridor a better place for the many local businesses. Only On Apache man! ...... “This is a Syrian-style gem in Scottsdale. Twice I have been here and treated like family. We had pizza, babaganoush, and grape leaves. Each dish is crafted with love and care. The babaganoush was smokey and garlicky, the grape leaves were tender. I liked the new York style pizza crust. I was also informed they have a booth at uptown farmer's market, where they regularly sell out of their items. No surprise, the food is amazing and served with a smile!“

“I love the Grapevine! I’m giving this place five stars because the GM did everything in her power to help accommodate my birthday party of 12 people. I really appreciate that because this bar is very busy on Friday and Saturday nights. I don’t remember her name, but the general manager was awesome, and she even made sure to save some tables for my group after dinner! Everyone in my group had a great time and I highly recommend this place for a fun and unique night out!“
