“Off the menu alert- grilled cheese burger! I was like gosh the grilled cheese sounds good but so does the burger.. lol.. I was like can he make me a grilled cheese burger? And they did! It's soooooo good 10/10. The bread was soft, the cheese was melted perfectly and the burger was juicy and good. Put this on your list to get!!“

“Sitting on the South golf course at the Boulders Resort in Carefree is Palo Verde. It's a simply elegant yet casual restaurant serving up Southwestern inspired dishes for breakfast and dinner. Sit inside the rotunda style main room or put on the patio overlooking the course and pond.
While my daughter sticks with pancakes, my son and I can't pass up a good order of biscuits and gravy. Unfortunately, we didn't try much of the menu as dad joined in as well with the same order this time. We all enjoyed the cheddar jalapeno biscuits topped with chorizo gravy. Jack went with his go-to spicy Bloody Mary, and I sipped on a bourbon and peach schnapps iced tea.
It was a nice family breakfast in the desert, followed by visiting the pond below. The kids loved getting the turtles and koi to inch closer and closer. So take a beautiful Carefree drive through the Boulders Resort for a lovely meal.“

“Listen to this incredible service story… I ordered online and came to pick up my order. I was greeted warmly at the door by 3 waiters. The first told me she just had checked on my order and they were still working on it, and then promptly told me to have a seat and that she would return with water. The second approached 2 min later and said she’d check on my order and asked if I wanted more water while I waited. They brought my order out before it was expected and on the bag wrote, “Thank you Paul!” in a calligraphy-like text. I’m from out west. Service different out here in Scottsdale.“

“We always bring our out-of-town guests to Stumblina's for the best burgers in the Phoenix area. Big, juicy, tasty, and totally satisfying. Elizabeth, our server offered outstanding service for our party. Once again, we had a terrific meal, and our guest loved it! We will be back!“
“The Boulders has been on my list for a while now. We played the south course and it lived up to expectations. The course was in phenomenal condition and it was very picturesque. The greens were very firm and gave a good challenge. Course staff was friendly and the pace of play was great. I look forward to coming back!“

“We had a wonderful experience celebrating two birthdays with two families for a joint dinner at Meritage. The food was delicious, the desert amazing. Everything is made in-house and from scratch. We all loved our food and our server was geat.“

“The restaurant offers a wide variety of delicious food. We really enjoyed the burger and fries and the sea bass ceviche, but everything was wonderful…especially for a poolside restaurant (it’s rare to find one that offers good, fresh sushi options!). And the drinks were delicious.
Ricardo delivered our food and he was completely lovely, attentive, and professional (I wish he was our server!).
Blake/Drake (?) the pool attendant was wonderful - very pleasant and helpful.“

“This is one of my favorite locations to watch the sun set with vibrant desert colors while enjoying a charcuterie and queso board with a specialty cocktail or a glass of wine. Seating on the terrace is recommended, although there are high tops along the bar, and comfy seating by the fireplace for those cool desert nights.“

“Def bar atmosphere. Great for going with friends to watch football or other sports. Very loud but when you’re looking for that atmosphere it’s great. There is a large selection of food on their menu. I only gave 4 stars regarding their take out process. I called in a take out order and the young lady sounded like she def would rather be somewhere else. When I picked up my order, same attitude. I’ve been going to this restaurant for 8 years. Mostly sit inside to eat. Seems like the same thing each time, staff just don’t act like they are enjoying their job. As time has gone on, I have frequented less and less. I just think there are other food services that try a bit harder with their customers.
Parking: Good luck finding parking on Friday Saturday night. The lot is a hot mess

“Picked up our Easter meal one day before and upon arriving home we realized our order was incomplete. We take ownership as well for not checking. However, when we alerted HoneyBaked, they went out of their way to make it right. I cannot say enough good things about this company and their ethics. Also, their products are so high quality that we cannot get enough. Definitely worth the 76 mile trek and the price. And the portions allow for leftovers on most of their products. I am grateful for such amazing customer service and products.“

“Great food & service! Very attentive servers. I shared the salad with jalapeño vinaigrette, miso salmon & side of wild mushrooms with my best friend. We loved everything. There were, however some ends of the wild mushrooms that maybe should have been trimmed off since it made the dish a little too grainy & bitter at times.“
