“This place is a must! The sushi we had was delicious and the presentation was stunning! All the rolls came out looking like a piece of artwork! The service was incredibly friendly and attentive. It was our first time here and they took tremendous care of us. We can't wait to go back! They had multiple air purifiers inside and every one of the staff was wearing a mask. Everything was stunningly clean and we felt very safe and comfortable. They are definitely doing all they can for their guests during Covid-19!“

“We’ve come to Sushi Doraku off and on for years now. It was our first time back here in a while, and wow did we miss them! We got the gyoza, pork fried rice (served with a spectacular Miso Soup), and a few orders of smoked salmon nigiri. Despite our waiter changing while we were there, the service never lacked in quality. Our drinks were never empty, and we were checked on often. The food was AMAZING, and crazy delicious!! We’d gotten one piece of salmon that was a bit too fatty to eat, but the moment the chefs noticed, one rushed over to make sure everything was okay. Maybe he was the owner? He was very kind to us, and replaced the one, with two, fresh salmon nigiri. We finished up our meal, and had a great time, really. We even had leftover pork fried rice that we are SO excited to eat later. They also surprised us with a little citrus bear dessert! Little orange wedges with a cream topping. So cute! We love everyone at Sushi Doraku, and can’t wait to come back in the future. Thank you!!

“I always come here for the Poke Bowl, and it’s by far the best I’ve had in the North Phoenix area. I always get the bowl with salmon, eel sauce, honey mustard mayo, and sriracha mayo. Customer service is great, food is quick to come out, and they send coupons regularly.“

“I personally like it. They have sushi happy hour every day. I had me hot sake. I had 3 of them lol. I had to wait in my truck while the happy hour in me wore off. So, watch cartoons..lol, yes, I still like watching cartoons. Anyway, good place to get sushi reasonably priced.

I came here with friends several times, always bringing a lot of people or recommending to many friends, because you get yummy sushi for a low price and a nice atmosphere. Every time we ask to be served by Amanda, and everyone in the party (often 10+ guests) is very pleased with her. She’s very informative, kind, and fast. She knows the menu well and explains all the rules this place has, so the guests aren’t surprised when they get the final bill.
There is usually a wait to be seated and not because there are no tables available - quite the opposite - but because there is rarely anyone at the host station. The restaurant seems understaffed.“
