“Top marks across the board! My family and I have been dining in here for years and have never had anything but good things to say about them. So for our wedding my wife and I had a German themed wedding that could be described as an old world decorated ceremony and dinner with an Oktoberfest reception. Anyways, we needed food to be catered and there being only about two restaurants in the valley that could support this, we were able to come to an agreement with Chef Luis and his staff here at Haus Murphy's. This was a wedding planned for a max of 175 people to attend, there was not that many to attend but we ordered enough food for that amount of people. Our request was for giant pretzels and stuffed mushrooms for the cocktail hour with their mustard and cheese dips. Main course was Eisbein, The BIG Smoked Beefy Bratwurst, Kilometer, spätzle, potato pancakes, German potato salad, and sauerkraut. Chef Luis nailed it!!! The food was definitely one of THE MOST talked about hits at our wedding and I could not agree more! I love this place and it will always be high on my recommendations for friends and family who visit the valley and is a Downtown Glendale treasure.“

“I love this restaurant. The food is so good. Sometimes we come here just for this restaurant and not even to gamble. They know how to fry really good here - fried chicken, fried fish, French fries, onion rings. Fried food is hit or miss but they’ve nailed it here. I get the fish and chips every time. My grandma has gotten the chicken tacos and the seafood pasta bowl, those are fantastic. My only complaint is the water here tastes very heavily chlorinated, it tastes like straight chemicals. I try to get lemonade but I can still taste the pool water through the lemon and sugar of the lemonade, and through the soda. The water issue is so bad that I actually will bring in my own water next time. We usually end up with the same waitress, I’m sorry I don’t remember her name, she is always kind. This place is clean, food is great, lots of tvs for sports fanatics but we aren’t even big sports fans. We literally come here for the food. Thanks.“

“We went for happy hour & all the food was amazing. Our server was fantastic & the portion sizes were huge. We had the sliders, (2) carnivore pizzas, chicken lettuce wraps , boneless wings & queso dip. Prices were super affordable & great drink.prices also. “This place is phenomenal the owners are great the staff is great the drinks are always good I've met some of the best people I've ever met in my life in this place I used to come over to six nights a week to play free pool and drink with my friends and I miss some really good people and now I work there and I keep the place up to date with best stuff we can find right now so I can't say enough about this place I've met some really good people here man the locals are great the regulars come in and they're always fun so I can't say enough about Ron and Lindsey cast and Tina Ron Chad and Aaron in the kitchen we needed a great place great place to come and visit again they have diamond predator tables a couple of them and it's always free pool darts steel or plastic and and then pinball and the music is always good so comle see us you want regret it.“

“We had a great time at the AZ Chiefs Kingdom pregame on Saturday. The food was very tasty. Only thing I would suggest is maybe adding some ceiling fans and additional bartenders during such a large event. Can’t wait to come back in the winter and playing some pickleball with friends!“

“This gem has been hiding right under my nose. My friend was craving bulgogi (if that's how you spell it). He googled it and found this place. We visited for lunch. Everything was sooooo good. I tried a deep-fried sushi roll and odun soup, with some egg rolls. He had his beef with glass noodles. Delicious!! Even the complimentary, little side dishes that they brought to the table were so good. The cucumbers and kimchi were my favorites. They've got a new customer for life.“
