The breakfast really did taste home cooked with “real” ingredients, not cheap substitutes. The portion size was perfect for senior size appetites and reasonably priced too. We got the shareable nachos, the menu said it was for 2-4 people…more like 4-6 people!
They make their own salsa and BBQ sauce and both were fantastic!

“Everyone in our extended family including me says the food is great. They have been coming here for a very long time, like 30 years. The servers and staff are very nice, and they stay on top of things. My wife and I especially like that we can sit outside. I like the rustic atmosphere. Their karaoke night draws a lot of talented people, and I've enjoyed Dirtwater's much more than any others'. I am occasionally a musician at Dirtwater, but I wouldn't be if it wasn't a great place with a lot of history.“

“Had the mammoth burger. One of the best tasting burgers I've had. Absolutely worth it. Large size, thick tomato, and not burnt. Fries were good. The prickly pear tea was very good. Someone had the prickly pear lemonade and it was delicious. This was a great surprise meal. Usually, in touristy places, the food is just okay. Not here. Very good.“
