“We ordered pick up last night and tried these guys out for the first time! OMG we will be back!!! Even with our food being taken back to the City of Maricopa, it all tasted incredible! I had the cheeseburger and got onion rings! It was delicious and a great portion that left me feeling full and happy! We will be back and try more of the menu but I see this as being one of our fave spots to get some good food! My Dad has Alzheimer's and the sliders were the perfect portion for him and he loved them!!! Maybe....just maybe....we can get a Dog Haus in Maricopa! Nudge, nudge, hint, hint, poke, poke!“

“When I try out a new place, I purposely order something not special, like a regular cheeseburger to see how the food really is. So I ordered a #11 turkey bacon tomato lettuce ranch. A sandwich that is typically bland, is fantastic at this place. An inch+ of thin sliced meat. Fresh lettuce and tomato. The bacon was meaty with perfect char, some of the best I've had in a long time. Forget about Subway and Jersey Mike's down the street. Go here,, a sandwich is 2 meals and the best around. 10/10“

“We were visiting. Very into elevated dinning , tasting tables... etc and this restaurant and our server far far exceeded our expectations. I will not travel through Scottsdale without coming back. The chopped salad and the corn polenta are def honorable mentions. We can't wait to see you guys again on our next visit“

We'll, SO glad we drive in to try it! Holy smokes did we gave a great lunch today! I had the brunch huevos & the hubs had the Cuban. Great portions (I couldn't finish my huevos) and both of us were saying we want to come back & try other items. The service was fine - I definitely felt like if you were from the neighborhood you were recognized & chatted up, but by no means was our server not perfectly fine... appropriately friendly & attentive, drinks & refills arrived promptly, she checked on us mid-meal, the bill came promptly. Zero complaints on service but hands in the air on that food! We'll definitely return to try out more of the menu!“

“My sister and I had such a good yummy happy hour, which was also probably dinner. The best customer service. They treat you like a family. Alicia, the manager, was the best. She heard me tell my sister that the butter caramel cake looked yummy. So what does she do? She brings us one on the house!! “Lovely place to go out for breakfast or brunch with your family, friends or partner. Service is always friendly and attentive and the portion sizes for skillets and pancakes are generous. Their skillets are also really good. They also have an interesting fruit platter too, with pineapple, honeydew, grapefruit, cantaloupe, watermelon etc.

They were super understanding and said the order was changed to pick up. As my family member arrived he saw the “delivery “ person grab our order from the pick up shelves and leave. Oh well. My family just let them since the order was on its way. Well, the guy never arrived at our home. I called the restaurant explaining my issue- and they immediately said they’d replace the order. No need to reorder, and it would be ready in 15 minutes. They were incredibly professional and exceptionally fast. I cannot recommend Flower Child enough for this. THANK YOU! “My husband was in town for his baseball game, so I took my mother out to lunch—and it was such a lovely experience! Our server was incredibly attentive and kind, checking on us several times throughout the meal. My mother and I truly enjoyed the food—especially the salad, which was fresh and delicious. Rarely I can do coffee straight up, no creme, no sugar - but here I can!! Prices are really reasonable and daily specials. Oh! Saw a lunch plate served of chili cheese fries that was stacked like a mountain on the plate. Defy anyone to finish it! Great old fashion neighborhood hang out.“

“Flower Child is one of my favorite places for a quick, healthy meal cooked in a clean environment (in full view) with plenty of options, even with food allergy restrictions. They are knowledgeable and more than willing to make sure your needs are met, and questions are answered.

This was my first time at this location and it surpassed my expectations. It’s now on the top of my list of locations.“

“Went there (party of two) last night for a meal of appetizers and drinks. We ordered the shrimp cocktail hoping for a chunky ceviche-type experience. The flavors were good and just the perfect kick. Our preference is a little less tomato juice and a little more of the chunky ingredients (reason for 4 on food). We also ordered the Queso Fundido. Very good flavors. Love the chorizo and the homemade corn tortillas.

Cadillac marg in a small glass...$19 (yikes!). Good but maybe not worth that price.

Service was excellent.

Downsides on this restaurant in general is how loud it is inside (reason for 3 of atmosphere) and how challenging to park(nothing they can do about parking).

Whoever owns this corner has put wayyyy too many busy restaurants in place for the amount of parking. So, if you want to come here arrive early as the restaurant is popular and they do not take reservations.

“One of the best American Food Places in Phoenix area. Ribs, Fried Chicken Sandwich and Bison Burger were cooked to perfection. The Bison Burger was asked for to be cooked Medium and was served perfectly Medium. All other dishes were also cooked to perfection. Great Chef!“
