“Went to a concert here recently and it was one of the coolest venues I’ve been to, the outdoor seating area was really nice to sit and hang out between the meet and greet and actual concert, the inside has really cool art on the walls and hanging from the ceiling, the bartenders were very nice and did a great job. “My friend was recently (on Dec 2nd) kicked out of this venue for no reason by overzealous security after driving two hours to see a Katatonia concert and then when he protested against them (verbally, not physically) outside of the venue they arrested him. Wtf? Every American has the right to free speech, especially if they've been mistreated by employees of a business. I would advise everyone to avoid this venue and their fascistic security.“

“We dine at Differnt Point of View many times every year, and celebrated our wedding anniversary with them again annually yesterday since arriving in AZ 19 years ago. Though the food was great and the service as impeccable as always, our usually excellent experience was tainted due to the very loud “F” expletive conversation of the table next to us. Was like sitting at a sports bar with the patrons are getting drunk ! The restaurant manager did her best to resolve but that table ruined our anniversary dinner ! Makes you consider future changes“

We shared the porterhouse for 2 meal which came with a choice of 2 sides for each and choice of salad. We went au gratin, asparagus, garlic mash and sauteed spinach. Both had classic ceaser. Also order an appetizer, calamari which came with marinara and they let us sub cocktail w/ fresh horseradish instead of remoulaud. Would recommend all of those. Steak cooked perfect. They also had provided bread basket that had some amazing jalepeno cheddar biscuits and other types, a bruschetta bite, raspberry sorbet palette cleanser and ginger snap cookies. Cocktails were great. The value of the meal can't be beat. We will definitely be back!“

Further, she then confronted the person the lemon drop was for, and threatened to call the police on her for complaining?? I'm not sure what the police were gonna do but they'd probably make a better lemon drop than this lady did.“

“I've been in Phoenix for 20 years and have grown to completely dismiss most Italian restaurants here. I'm Italian and part of our culture is pressing very high expectations on Italian restaurants and always being disappointed. The experience I had at Avanti for my birthday this weekend completely blew away my expectations and involved some of the best food I've had in about 5-6 years. I'm super glad I had the Papardelle - Avanti has had the same pasta chef for over 40 years and it shines through in every bite. The appetizers, bread, salads, all of it was exquisite and stupendous and the environment and decor was soooo retro amazing. Finally the Tiramisu was made by angels. I haven't had a drink in 6 years and I got a slight buzz from it! 😅“
