“A few years back my traveling girlfriends were driving thru Payson after a fun filled weekend. They needed their coffee fix - me I’ll get a tea (not a coffee lover). We happened to find this off the beaten track coffee shop that I am sure the locals pretty much know about. We just recently took a day trip again and stopped in. Two coffees and a smoothie for me. We sat and watched the end of the eclipse and enjoyed the patio! Common Grounds is Payson’s little gem! This beats any franchise coffee shop I’ve enjoyed.“

“My husband and I enjoyed our first meal at Rim Country today. Let me tell you, it was absolutely amazing! I ate my weight in delicious pizza, superb tasting brisket and a perfectly cooked baked potato. My husband had the 1/2 pound of chopped brisket and the most scrumptious fries topped with cheddar jalapeño sausage. We left in the most phenomenal food coma I think I’ve ever had. 10 out of 10 The service was super friendly and casual. Will be eating here every time we’re in Payson. Customers for life.“

“The service was great! They remembered my favorite drink and milk preferences and even gave recommendations based off of it! The place feels very relaxed, like they won't rush you to make your order. They treat you more than some number, you are a friend, family or neighbor. Today I had her new cookie Mallow Dreams and it was SOO GOOD! I had to happy dance as I gobbled it down, lol! I also got a hot chocolate with her housemade Sesame sauce. Omygoodness, delicious, chef's kiss!“

“Literally the best tacos I've ever had! I don't like carne very much but here there's nothing better. The workers are some of the most amazing people that make the food taste that much better. If your ever hungry and want some amazing tacos I highly highly recommend stopping by western village and getting some.“

“Ended up driving this way from Roosevelt lake up to the rim because of a fire restriction. Drive from the. Alley was much longer, but the small oasis of Jake’s Corner was a great place to stop, have a snack and a drink, before heading further up to cooler weather. Staff were great and attentive. Looks like it is busy when the heat is not so intense so people ride their motorcycles up there. Take a dollar bill and write something on it and staple it to the ceiling or walls to commemorate your visit. We did!“

“This place was great for an amazing meal and relaxing atmosphere along Christopher Creek!! Stopped in on a random Saturday night for a good meal after a long unsuccessful day fishing on Woods Canyon Lake.....lol! There happened to be a llive band which was cool, The service was great overall. I got the chicken fried chicken steak with mashed potatoes and gravy and it was good, no complains. The kitchen did send out the wrong dish initially which did cause a significant delay in getting my order back out to me was the only down fall!“

“Went through drive through and picked up rolled tacos and took to volleyball game. Service was quick., the family enjoyed the food. The food was amazing, so had to go back after game and get some more. Would definitely recommend, I can’t wait to try more. A great big thumbs up.“
“Last night 12/12/25 I ordered the family chicken strip meal for the first time since they re-did their kitchen. First time in over a year.. The chicken strip fresh,hot,juicy,and HUGE!! The wedges and biscuits fresh and tasty, not hard and crunchy like before under previous management. Tried the Jambalaya for the first time and delicious! Also friendly staff and generous with dipping sauces. THANK YOU! Keep up the quality fresh food..Will visit again soon!“
