Living in Detroit all my life where the single biggest concentration of middle eastern ethnic group lives, I've eaten at many middle eastern restaurants over the years. They have good food. It's run by a very friendly family. They were also very happy to accommodate the requests of our group of 4 during a busy lunch. They do not serve any lamb. Food is served on plastic. Decent portions.the garlic dip/sauce, babba gahnoh were excellent.
This is the best authentic mid eastern food in all of AZ. The restaurant has been there over 50 years. The current owner grew up in AKKO Israel and are so sweet humble and authentic. They bend over to please you. The lamp kabobs saffron rice and mild eastern spices are tops. All bread pita’s are baked daily. The French Fetta tops. The Bakclava yum yum.

I had the BEST chicken kabobs here, and their rice is AMAZING!! We had them cater an event for us and everything was so great - the pitas came warm, the hummus was awesome, the salads were beautiful and delicious. I would highly recommend to anyone and will definitely be going back. Also, the staff were always super friendly, the restaurant itself was cute and had unique items for sale, and it's an overall great experience.
