As I passed by, I thought. Wow, this is very pink, so I was expecting something completely different. The minute I walked in the door I was hit with this amazing aroma that reminded me of all the times. We used to visit our family in Mexico. I loved the new edgy changes they made to the old traditional bread.. they are obviously still very connected to our tradition, but put a fresh new spin to the generational delicatessen. Very cute little shop with great pastries and drinks! The empenadas were warmed and much bigger than I expected. Their sauces that accompanied them were so delicious! We tried a variety of the sweets that included dulce de leche and all were pretty amazing! Definitely have to return to try more items from their menu.
Today was my first time visiting Cielito, and I have to say I'll definitely be back whenever I'm in the area! The coffee was delicious, and I loved the cute decoration on top. It was strong with just the right touch of caramel, exactly how I asked for it. The lady who helped me was also very kind and welcoming. Highly recommend!
