FYI the bar should ALWAYS be open seating. Been that way at every place since 1902. Don't be California. The tables are a line and you wait for them. The breakfast is the best in the airport and the service is great.
Thomas did a great job; he was working as the host and one of two people waiting on 30+ people, in addition to bussing tables. I figured there'd be a substantial wait but I was seated and he took my order within 2 minutes of showing up at 9:15pm. Food was out within 10 minutes, and he made a fresh pot of coffee for me in the middle of it all. Got the bacon and waffles which were really good, especially as far as airport food goes. My husband & I just had one of the best breakfasts of our lives at Matt’s - no kidding! The flavor of the over easy eggs, pork patties, peppered thick-sliced bacon, & seasoned skillet potatoes were not only tasty but cooked to perfection! The highlight that you MUST ORDER though are the HEAVENLY LIGHT & BUTTERY PANCAKES or WAFFLES! Somehow , I will find a way to duplicate that recipe! Matt’s has our business from now on!
