I hadn't had some spot on fried chicken for as long as I can remember. The fried chicken was so damn good and cooked to perfection!! The crunch and seasoning were just absolute heaven, the sides(mashed potatoes and gravy, Mac n cheese,corn bread and Mac salad were all perfect and hands down just delish!! My taste buds were loving me for taking them there and I was so happy they were happy!! The restaurant was nice and cool, absolutley spotless and clean, service was great...
Good service nice clean environment, food is nothing to brag about, I got oxtail too much salt, and fatty pieces, at least trim the fat, did not like the gravy, sweet potato were from a can, and they were way to sweet, best thing in my order was the cabbage. Corn bread was dry, spent $70. Totally disappointed. I did hear good things an decided to try this place.
Did a pick up order. Great customer service. Food looked and tasted fresh! Coming from the Midwest, this is the best soul food we have found so far in Phoenix. We got the fried pork chop entree and fried chicken. Mixed Greens, mac and cheese, cabbage and black eye peas for sides. We liked it all! Husband said cornbread was a little dry, but that’s the only criticism we can give. Food was delicious!
