“I have to say if you have ever considered eating at Sage and Barrel.. don’t wait.
We’ve been going for a few months now probably at least once a week and we usually try different items. We have never been disappointed. My husband likes the Cubano sandwich and the fried chicken and I usually get the chicken bruschetta or the margherita flatbread. We have never been disappointed. We have tried other things as well but, those most definitely are our favorites. The kids barrel burger and fried are our grandsons favorite”

“Fantastic food and ambiance; had the unfortunate incident of a rude member just walk in front of me in the middle of buying a gift card demanding to be seated. Upon asking this "Karen" to allow me to finish my transaction she called me rude. No blame on the young intimidated waitress. Net net, you are second here to all members and a full thumbs down to the manager "Cornelius" who basically dismissed me and my complaint and defended the member. Cornelius, you shouldn't be working here!”

“I am from New York and have had a very hard time finding good pizza in Arizona. I ordered a pizza today from Donatos with extra sauce, extra cheese and extra well done and it was perfect!! I’ve ordered from them before and it was close…. But it needed more sauce, more cheese, and more well done. After ordering it with the with the extras today… IT WAS PERFECT!! After being here for a year and a … I have finally found NY pizza in Arizona!”

“My boyfriend and I were trying to find a place that was open to fill our miso soup craving that was gluten free and so happy we found this place! We called and asked about their gf options and they have a limited menu, but they take precautions. I’m a very sensitive celiac so I haven’t felt any cross contamination from gluten or anything yet which is a plus. I got the miso soup and crab roll. It tasted delicious!! They even have gf soy sauce. I didn’t see the reviews on the FindMe GF App until I was about to click to write my review, but I would say that they’ve taken precautions with my food.”

As soon as we walk in, the staff knows our drinks without us even saying a word—talk about feeling like family! We’ve never had anything less than top-notch service, from the owner all the way down to the rest of her amazing team. It’s always warm, welcoming, and consistent. A real gem in the community!”

I can only eat there chicken, no one else's idk why or what they do to it.. they hooked me up with the chicken chimmy to help me go into labor with the hottest salsa. Baby Vivianna was born 27 hours later lol yes they gave me a plate for the hospital lol my son ( rip) Omar had his first job here. He didn't last long, but he loved it. The food is always amazing and fresh. The workers are amazing and so sweet.”

“Delicious birria tacos! The tortillas are outstanding in taste and texture. These birria tacos are packed with generous meat portions without falling apart. The meat is flavorful, well trimmed, and not greasy. The meat and cheese is perfectly balanced with fresh veggies. I was full after the first taco, and saved the other two for today. They are still so good reheated! Despite the rich flavor, there was no solidified fat layer over the leftover consommé.”

“What do I recommend? EVERYTHING! Delicious food. Best salad I’ve ever had-The Big Beefstro 👍-absolutely delicious. Our waitress Micole was very accommodating. I asked to substitute the Spicy Chipotle dressing for the Sweet Serrano Pepper dressing - no problem. Our party of 8 included 2 children. Micole put their orders through first and these were delivered in record time. Entree’s for the adults followed shortly after. LARGE portions of delicious food! Micole was efficient and attentive. Additionally, our 30 minute wait for a table was actually about 10 minutes. Highly recommend this restaurant. You won’t be disappointed! Apr 2/23”

“Recently moved to the area and my husband is addicted to cinnamon rolls - but not just any cinnamon rolls anymore - he is a self classified “Cinnaholic”!! We have had multiple trips to the location on Combs/Gantzel. Two visits stick out over others. One visit about a month ago, I stopped in with my 5 and 3 year old to get some rolls for dessert for Father’s Day. The owner and one other employee were working. The owner came out with three ice cream samples for me and the kids because the rolls were going to take 2 more minutes - excellent customer service - my kids were behaving but the little sample of ice cream made their night and they still talk about it to this day! About a week ago, my husband and I went in to get him and my stepson rolls, the owner was the only one working and he had a great conversation with my husband, very personable, great customer service, and we learned his name is Matt. Yesterday we ran into Matt at the grocery store and even though he wasn’t at the shop, he was still very nice, had a quick conversation and the girls thanked him again for those ice cream samples! The customer service is incredible and the rolls are spectacular!! Totally worth the drive from Florence!”

“Last Saturday I had went to get a drink before heading to work. It was super busy in the drive thru so I went inside but it was also super busy! I ordered my drink and waited quite a while which I didn’t mind. I was running late to work but started to notice people that had ordered after me had gotten their drinks. I went to ask and my order must have just gotten mixed up. No big deal! I went back today, three days later, through the drive thru and the barista (I didn’t get his name!) remembered me and gave me my drink. I can’t believe he even remembered! Just wanted to say thank you and that made my whole entire week!”

“We went in around 5:30 tonight.Waited about 15 minutes in line to order. Total wait time till we got our food was an hour and a half. Im not complaining that was to be expected coming to a new place after just opening. Only reason for writing a review is because of Ethan. He said he's normally in the back and it was his first day on the floor. He was constantly running around to the tables checking on the guests that were waiting for their food to see if there was anything he could do to serve them. When he came to our table the 2nd time we asked if something happened in the back because we noticed that orders hadn't been coming out in about 10 minutes. We werent angry or upset just genuinely curious. He apologized for the wait explained they were very backed up, asked to see our receipt to personally check on our order. He then power walked to the back and quickly came back to tell us our food was about 10 to 20 mins longer and brought me my peach tea that I had been waiting on because the person at the counter said it would come out with the food and he noticed I didn't have it. He seemed a bit nervous to tell us about the wait and kept apologizing. We assured him that it was ok and not a problem, its to be expected and he was doing a great job and he just had to keep doing what he was doing. 15 minutes later our food arrived. Food was decent, better then Cane's. But the service Ethan provided during this chaotic time was outstanding. That kid is a Rockstar!”

The food is great, the workers are super nice, the place is ran properly. I just love this company and so far it has not let me down. Lots of these types of restaurants are cutting back on portions and cafe Rio has been the exception. They are always generous and the food is always made fresh and right. Shout out to the man running the line at this location, what a wonderful asset to this company. He even came by our table and asked how everything was. For being a “faster” food type of place, this is ran like a restaurant where you would pay $30 for a portion, maybe even better.”

“We went here because Bobo's was closed. This was for a large family gathering. This place is primarily for take out, but does have seating and tables to eat. The food was okay, but we all prefer Bobo's on Hunt Hwy.”
