“My love for a delicious plate of fried rice started when I used to go to the oriental restaurant at the food court in Metrocenter Mall YEARS AGO! And finding spots that capture that same freshness & quick service is always referenced upon. We'll today I found myself waaaay out in Queen Creek to pick up an item I'd been putting off. Because, well you know, we all get busy....and work. But today I took the drive 40 minutes from home mind you, & I needed to find a spot to hang out & have some lunch.
And I'm so glad to came here! No offense to the other choices or the BBQ place I'm looking at while I sit solo at this place, but I totally am thankful I came here. I always get bean sprouts with my fried rice & they delivered. I also asked to egg since the cashier mentioned they don't normally put it in the rice. 🍚

The food was absolutely delicious & I intended to save some for later but it was all gone! 🍚 💨 I made it disappear.
The place may not be fancy & you definitely won't mistake it for a PEI WEI restaurant, but the food.... 🧑‍🍳's 😘

“from Buffalo NY, where restaurants are everywhere, to San Tan Valley, where we are literally in a desert of restaurants, we were happy enough with China Chef to have gone back several times for take out …. Always order the same 2 dishes and have been pretty pleased. Counter folk are always kind, never had an issue. i am not a picky connoisseur of food - but we like the vegetable lo mein and the tofu with vegetables.
Only thing we find hard to get used to is that they are closed for lunch everyday from 3-4“

While my prior visits have been nothing short of spectacular, last night's order ended very peculiarly.

We ordered crab puffs (X2), honey chicken, curry chicken, shrimp with lobster sauce, and fried rice.

No issues with the puffs, honey chicken, or curry chicken. However, I identified two issues where one we are still encountering as a family.

At one point while eating the fried rice, one of my bites I felt a very crunchy portion. So crunchy, I thought I broke a tooth. Thankfully, I was able to account for my teeth. But I could not find what it was that caused the situation to begin with. Sadly, I was then too paranoid to eat more of the rice.

Shrimp with lobster sauce was a newer item we had picked. Three of us are now dealing with various types of stomach aches. For the three that are dealing with the aches, they were the only three that ate the shrimp dish (my wife, my oldest son, and myself). It has been a rather miserable day, unfortunately.

I had to adjust the rating from a 5 to a 4. Like I said, we've been to Ginger Garden in the past, and no complaints. The rice matter may be a serious outlier, but I can't ignore it given I was legit worried about a broken tooth (maybe it was a super fried rice kernel). But the stomach aches are another item that we can't overlook either. It may be the shrimp or sauce was spoiled, and the restaurant wasn't aware. However, it had a significant impact on our visit.

When I return, I'll make any adjustments to the overall rating. I hope it goes back to the five star rating we've had in the past.“

-Sizzling Rice Soup - chicken,shrimp, vegetables. Very tasty and fresh. The broth is delicious
-Orange Chicken - so much better than Panda! Juicy and flavorful. The sauce isn't sickly sweet, and just the right amount of heat
Honey Glaze Walnut Shrimp- Star of the show! Big Shrimp, generous portions, delicious sauce, the walnuts are a good contrast with the Shrimp.
- Cashew Shrimp - Came with fresh broccoli. The shrimp are big and juicy, with really good sauce.
I've also previously had the Mapo Tofu, and the Fried rice with chinese sausage. The tofu is unbelievably silky and smooth. The brown sauce is savory and flavorful without being overpowering. The fried rice is good, but the Chinese sausage makes it special.“

“Panda express never disappoints. This location is great because they have a drive thru and the drive thru has two lines. The workers here are nice and friendly. The drive thru went quickly and my food was still hot. Sometimes the orange chicken is too spicy but it is just right at this location! I recently was dining at Panda Express, and I must say, it was a really good experience. The food was absolutely delicious, with flavors that burst in every bite. The orange chicken was crispy and perfectly sauced, while the chow mein was cooked to perfection.

“Order at the counter. Food is tasty for sure if you get it fresh off the burner. They will split your side so you can get both rice and chowmein. They do give a healthy portion of each. Not as generous on the main dishes. They are all good. Take a quick peak before you order to see what looks good to you.
