“Just found this place yesterday and I’ve already gone twice! From the outside it doesn’t seem like much and the inside has been empty each time we’ve gone, but the workers were patient and so kind and the food is absolutely amazing! Fresh made sushi, tender chicken and steak, delicious fried rice! Even the pork gyoza and cheese wonton appetizers were delicious! I highly recommend!!! I have been coming to Temari for 15 years. Danny and Saki feel like family. They made this place the best sushi place in the valley, in my opinion. When I heard they sold, it was like a gut punch. I was mad, angry, sad.. a lot of emotion for a sushi place. LOL I read some new reviews and vowed no more Temari for me.... But, I felt I should I give it a fair shot... I am so so so glad I did..

First thing I noticed is hwo bright and clean the place is. It looks bigger. It is bright, airy, open, and not so dark. I like that change.

The bathrooms are bright and clean!

The service was great. We LOVED our old servers but lets admit it was not very attentive. The place was packed on Saturday night and our servers was great- friendly, kind, and attentive.

We spoke with the new owner-Jinsu- many times and he was great.

Now to the important stuff- the food:

I will start with my truly only negative- The staple of Temari is the Primo Roll. They have made it spicier- almost too spicy. It was good, mind you, but I want my original primo, drowning is sauces, mild taste. This was upsetting, but,again, the new Primo was very good..just not the Primo.. :(

White dragon- amazing- Less eel flakes on top which allowed the fish to be the hero. It was also less smoky. This was delicious and for my favorite roll, I am very happy.

Amazing Grace was clean and fresh and well balanced.

My wife loved the new Salmon pepper- seemed cleaner and crisper. She wanted a second roll, but we had just finished 7. :)

Las Vegas- delicious- less breading, more fish, less crispy- more like a soft shell crab. A fantastic roll- Far less sauce which allows fish to come through

Pretty in Pink- still a sweet favortite but without the pink flakes I could taste the delicious fish.

Hamachi- was absolutely amazing!! Fantastic..

Overall we really enjoyed the New Temari. Instead of comparing, I think we will close the book on Danny and Saki's Temari which brought us so much joy and delicious food over the years. We look back fondly on it and wish Saki and Danny nothing but the absolute best- Thank you both for bringing such delicious sushi and joy to our lives.

Now, we open a new chapter with Jinsu's Temari- which from our first visit could our sushi place for the next 15 years!“

“There’s a reason they’ve been here since 2013. Prices are very reasonable and their meat quality is excellent. It reminds me of a local owned mom and pop Benihana on a smaller scale. Flavors are great and the tuna quality was really up there. Especially for the price.“

“Theyve got a very busy counter. You can get car insurance quotes, lollipops, support your local soccer team, find an accident attorney and oh yes order food. Good quick asian food we've been to numerous times. Sushi was decent but it's not a sushi restaurant. Portions are generous. Staff is nice“

“Great place ! We used to live in Seattle, the World Headquarters of easily accessible great Teriyaki, and hadn't really found a place that measures up. I don't know why we waited so long to try Yogi's since we live < 2 miles from it, but a friend visiting wanted some Teriyaki so we went here. I was shocked at how great it was ! Now we visit all too often ! They have plentiful portions, and the chicken T is just as good as we had in Seattle, if not better. Chicken was cooked perfectly, and wow their Teriyaki sauce is amazing. Best way is to order and pay on their website (no need to use 3rd parties), then go pick it up. Everyone's so nice at the counter. Only hassle is parking since it's behind the building with the Starbucks, but being behind the building provides quick access since you can drive behind the entire strip mall and avoid all of the slow Albertsons traffic to get back to Baseline.“
