Great selection of burgers here. My wife and I had the big Blu Burger, coleslaw and onion rings side. Delicious and huge burger. Our server was Cynthia S. who was professional, courteous, and personable. She was helpful with suggestions for dinner. We asked to move to a booth and were easily accommodated . She often checked back with us if we wanted anything else. Highly recommend this particular place. Had a great chat with Brandon, owner about previous review and response. “Stopped into Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers in Old Town Scottsdale and had a great experience. The vibe is exactly what you’d expect—sports bar meets burger joint—with plenty of TVs, a full bar, and both indoor and patio seating. Perfect spot if you want to catch a game with friends.

I ordered a cheeseburger with fries, and it hit the spot. The burger was stacked with fresh toppings (crisp lettuce, juicy tomato) and the melted cheddar really sealed the deal. Fries were hot and well-seasoned—good pairing with a cold drink. Portion sizes are definitely generous, so come hungry.

Service was quick and friendly, and even though the place has a lively atmosphere, it never felt overwhelming. Parking in Old Town can sometimes be tricky, but this location has nearby street and lot options, which makes it convenient or just grab a Waymo.

“I love cold beers because they load up their burgers with toppings. Other places don’t and it drives me nuts. FINALLY a place that makes a peanut butter jelly burger that tastes like peanut butter jelly. This location specifically does this well.

“Never actually gotten food here, that would mess with my buzz, of course.

The atmosphere is the best part, it makes up for the mediocre service. The service is mediocre on account of promptness and attention to detail. As an example, the lady sitting behind me ordered a burger with sweet potato fries. She commented that the fries were stale, and asked for a fresh batch. They brought her out the exact same stale fries--truly excellent service would have been to fire up the fryer for one last small batch of sweet potatoes fries. The lady left without eating either set of fries, and her table remained unbussed for over an hour--I eventually bussed her table, and moved her items to the bar for the staff as last call was occuring. It is those small details that take the service down from excellent and five stars to just mediocre and three stars.

Back to the atmosphere, there is a good collection of regulars (and friendly bartenders) that form a fairly nice community at the establishment. It is a friendly, convivial, and lively spot to watch a sports game.“

“I really like Johnny Rockets dinners. This was the worst location I have been to… with that said it was still good. This is in a mall food court and I feel the quality was not to the standard of others I have been to. It was busy at the mall food court which takes away from the Johnny rockets vibe. I have been to others in food courts in Vegas that executed better than this one. Food was good but not worth the price or the wait. I would skip this location and grab something quicker and cheaper. Shake shack is also in the mall.“

We stopped in after hearing good things, and it totally lived up to the hype. I ordered the Mexicano Burger, and it was packed with flavor (juicy, perfectly cooked) and topped with the best combo of grilled jalapeños, onions, cilantro, and melty cheese. Every bite had a little kick and a ton of flavor. 🔥

The fries were just as good! They were crispy, golden, and seasoned perfectly with herbs that give them a little something extra. Everything came out hot, fresh, and beautifully put together.

We had no issues parking and was instantly immersed with friendly faces and a welcoming atmosphere. Our waiter, the Juan and only, went above and beyond in regards to service and attention to our very needs. I dont usually leave a 10/10 5 star review upon first visit but I think it was earned without a doubt. I wanted to give a tip right away before the check but was refused as its just their standard.
