“We sat outside and had a wonderful experience. Service was great. In fact, the kitchen was so prompt with our appetizers that we actually slowed down our ordering. Our server understood and without us saying anything he simply checked in to ask when we were ready to order - entree, drinks, dessert. Our only, and minor criticism, is two of our food items were a tad too salty for our liking. Purely personal presence. Otherwise the food we had was outstanding. The bread appetizer and the calamari app were actually light and not heavy, which we appreciated.“

“Beautiful location and great high tea. I think there could be a few more savory pieces and less sweets, especially at 1 pm and given the price. Everything tasted wonderful except for some large muffin that was hard, dry and tasteless. Great level of detail with gold leaf, flowers etc. The waiter was friendly and attentive always refilling our tea pots with hot water. Perfect way to spend a few hours with girlfriends.“

“The restaurant is located within a beautiful Spanish inspired resort setting. They have great Spanish cuisine with a nice assortment of tapas. The staff is very kind, professional and knowledgeable about the menu.“

“Surprising delight after visiting the Pompeii exhibit at the Arizona Science Center. Tried beef empananda, Pork testones and beef tacos. All were exceptional. The pork was a wondeful taste the rest of the night. Also tried the blackberry mojito that was recommended. I highly suggest stopping by when in the area, well worth the effort. Family owned and run.“

“It's surprisingly nice to have really good tapas in a relatively small place. Every dish we had is comparable to what we've had at more established restaurants, with a couple even better. The best was the octopus, which I thought would be grilled as we used to see. But the menu says it's carpaccio. And indeed it was! Very thin sliced and tasty! Also, we liked lamb chops and sardines, the former very tender and juicy. Overall, an unplanned dinner was all worth it.“

“Absolutely loved this place all around, atmosphere, service and food. My friend and I met our 2 other friends here at 4:00 pm right when they opened. Upon entering, we were greeted and seated by a very nice and friendly young man, who was our server throughout the evening. The restaurant is very small, no tables bigger than to hold a party of 4. The bar though was big, it could accommodate a lot of people. They also have outdoor patio seating which looked very inviting if the weather was cooler.

We started off with the smoking deal they offer, a bottle of wine and a Bruschetta Board for $30. We ordered through out the evening cocktails and beers. They have limited cocktails, but the ones they offer were excellent. I had The V and Serendipity. The 4 of us shared all the tapas orders which were the Truffled Hamachi, 12pc Sashimi Assortment, Green Chili Beef Empanadas, Chicken Skewers, Spicy Salmon Avocado Maki and the Yellowtail Aburi. All was EXCELLENT!

This was my first time here and definitely will not be my last.“

“I judge a sushi joint by their Sashimi, and their fish is pretty darn good. Anybody can hide bad fish in a cheap roll stuffed with “Krab with a K”. Fake crab is just filler, and often it is used by poor restaurants who just want to sling drinks and blast the music. Sushiholic is different. The vibe is very chill, and their fish is EXCELLENT!“

“Outstanding pizza. Crust stayed nice and crisp and held toppings without getting soggy. Prosciutto appetizer was delicious as was the apple tart- crust light and flaky. We sat outside and it was very relaxing. I will be back. This was on the bucket list and so glad we came for dinner“

“Been wanting to try Cocina Chiwas for some time, and finally made it there for our anniversary dinner. Having been to Tacos Chiwas and Espiritu, we knew that the meal and cocktails would be great and our expectations were exceeded. The ambiance was perfect, seasonal cocktails were superb and our fantastic server helped us find the perfect mix of menu must haves (if you like oysters- try both ways!) and specials. Service from all staff members was excellent. We will definitely be back.“
