“You might easily walk past the entrance to this restaurant since the front windows are covered with what looks like... rice paper. However once inside it is casual, but welcoming and so are the staff. It was helpful that our server kept us updated on when our pho would be ready. To start we had the chicken wings which I usually dont like but these were pretty good, not greasy, slightly sweet and a mildly spicy with plenty of meat on them. Ginger tea was good, you get a small pot for $5. We've been to Vietnam and while the dishes are authentic, we didnt think the pho was exceptional. The soup was hearty but a little thin tasting, not bad at all but not amazing. However, I'd try this place again.“

“I ordered online for takeout from Chada Thai, and was so impressed. The restaurant itself is cute and casual. It was fast (ready earlier than estimated), staff was super friendly, and the food was fantastic. I had panang curry with chicken, gluten free, hot. I love and eat Thai regularly, all over the US. They knocked it out of the park!“

“This has got to be one of my faves if not the fave Phở restos in the Valley. Those of you who’ve read my reviews know I love and know Phở… and of my persistent seeking out for a ‘legitimate and traditional’ Phở! Aside of its non-descript, simple and no-frills interior and location, yet relaxed and accommodating – the offerings are to write home about. Whether ordering bun bo hue, shrimp and pork spring rolls, Asian salads or the rice noodle soups, its really, really good. It appears all the dishes have been excellent to date, nonetheless at the core of it all is the Phở. My favorite Phở Tai Nam is delectable. With tender meats, amazing broth, one of the better renderings of seasoning I’ve tasted. Wife’s Phở Tai was perfectly to her liking. I was also impressed with remarkably fresh accoutréments of bean sprouts, cilantro, jalapeños, lime wedges and Basil leaves! Phở Number One puts together extraordinary presentation with precise amount of beef bone flavor of its broth and just the right measure of onion and ginger with the perfect dash of fish sauce – kudos to the kitchen, it’s almost perfect. “They have lots of authentic and harder-to-find Vietnamese dishes and desserts, such as the amazing bánh ướt thịt nướng. The thinly sliced, soy sauce–marinated pork was sweet and savory. This was balanced with the large rice noodle sheets and fresh vegetables. The fish sauce also added some depth and spiciness from the chilis.

The bánh canh cua was also great. The broth was thick and well seasoned, with flavors of seafood, chives, onions, and fresh coriander. There is also a unique, peppery nutmeg flavor from the annatto oil. There were quail eggs and large shrimp, but not very much crab meat, which makes sense for the price of the dish. The noodles are hand-cut but quite soft.

The service os friendly and fast, and the restaurant is situated in a food court inside Mekong Plaza.“

“Every time we are in town visiting family, we always stop by and grab sandwiches here. The best and most authentic banh mi sandwiches, hands down. I wish there was something here in Vegas, that was as comparable to Mekong Sandwiches.“

My husband and I came here for the first time around 8:20ishpm, mind you they close at 9:30 but they told us to take our time and enjoy our food and that they will stay till 10pm. The only reason it got 4 on food from me is that I have eaten a LOT of pho and worked at 2 Vietnamese restaurants. Not using msg means they balanced with salt, and thats just not to my taste. “First time here eating their Pho. The broth really didn't have much flavor, and slim picking on the meat. But the bean sprouts and veggies were fresh! We also had their egg rolls and beef sandwich. Those were absolutely amazing, like 10/10 for both. The sauce for the rolls was sweet and paired well. The sandwich had fresh ingredients, the bread was delicious, and I seriously couldn't get enough of it. Definitely will be there again, just wouldn't recommend the Pho.“

“Excellent Pho. I flew into Sky Harbor and was craving Pho before driving home to Tucson. I text my daughter to find a place close to the airport. She found this place. Glad she did. The Chicken Pho was delicious 😋 My daughter had the beef, and it was just as good. If you love in the area, I highly recommend this place for your Pho cravings!! The spring rolls and peanut sauce well really good and fat too.“
