The portion size was also really generous and I was quite full after.However, the service was not great. We waited quite a while for our check and the staff seemed to be just hanging out in the back. This was a bit of a let down compared to the quality of the food.Overall, I would recommend this restaurant for the pho, but I would suggest not expecting great service.“

“First Visit to Dong Que did not disappoint! I was looking for authentic Vietnamese food, the kind from my childhood and I have found my favorite new spot! “This is my favorite pho place and it is all about the flavor or should I say depth of flavor in the broth. Hot and sour ramen soup with chicken, beef, and shrimp and loaded with veggies is actually my favorite but watch out because it is Hot. I also love the short rib pho but ask them to take it off the bone as it is way easier to eat that way. That is an unctious bowl of pho and reminiscent of pot roast. I hardly ever go a week without the hot and sour ramen soup though. Highly recommended.“

It is in a sketchy area by a Walmart that is pretty rough and scary after dark, but that does not change the fact that my favorite items are the Fresh Spring Rolls (with Shrimp) with a side of Fish Sauce and Peanut Sauce. “I order Pad Thai whenever it is on the menu. This place has AMAZING Pad Thai! Be careful, it's spicy... just the way I like it. You can order it mild though if you're not into spicy food. The egg rolls are great, too! The service is fast and friendly. A little pricy IMO; about $25 a person for Pad Thai with egg rolls. But, probably worth it. I'll definitely be back and highly recommend!

“The name of PUER Taiwan tea caught my attention, so I decided to give it a shot and see how it compares to Dayung. PUER has a few locations in Texas as well.

The shop itself is spacious, well-decorated, and clean. On the right-hand side, there was a long high-chair table with convenient charging plugs - perfect for getting some work done while enjoying a drink.

We were given a 20% discount on our order by the cashier, who, I believe, is also the owner, and he was very nice. We decided to try the Tropical Fruit Tea with regular boba (half sweet) and an iced Americano. The tropical iced tea had a real tea taste, but I felt it could use a bit more fruit. However, even at 50% sweetness, it was still a bit sweeter than I usually like. The boba was chewy, although I prefer it a little softer - but hey, different strokes for different folks, right? The iced Americano was pretty standard.

They also have a food menu, which looks intriguing, so I'm planning on coming back to try it next time.

Overall, PUER Taiwan Tea and Coffee is a great spot for a chill hangout with some tasty drinks. If you're in the area, I'd recommend giving it a try!“
