“I’m going to say something controversial here, but I’m telling you… don’t knock it ‘til you try it. Rice Paper on Shea has THE BEST CHICKEN WINGS in Phoenix, and maybe the best I’ve ever had. I consider myself a bit of a connoisseur, I’ve had a lot of wings.. my belly is the proof lol. Grandma Tran’s wings hit every single mark.. they are crispy, juicy, spicy, salty, sweet and have umami galore. I would put these against any wing in Phoenix. If there is a wing competition, these for sure should be entered. Additionally, the rolls are really good too, the salads are amazing, and everything else really. I’ve never been disappointed here.. but those wings. Special!“

“I ordered online for takeout from Chada Thai, and was so impressed. The restaurant itself is cute and casual. It was fast (ready earlier than estimated), staff was super friendly, and the food was fantastic. I had panang curry with chicken, gluten free, hot. I love and eat Thai regularly, all over the US. They knocked it out of the park!“

“Other people wrote about slow service in their reviews. I did NOT experience that at all. Armando was my service person and did an excellent job from the time I walked in the door until I had completed my meal. From the time I ordered my pho, the bowls were, no kidding, sitting on my table in 3 minutes. Yes, I kept track of the time due to other reviews! There were 2 other couples in the restaurant when I arrived and several other groups arrived after I ordered. Each group was given the same attention and quick service. Don't hesitate to eat at this restaurant. It is clean, well managed, and the food is very good.“

“My go to Pho spot! I caught a cold recently and instantly thought of my mothers remedy, chao or pho. It never fails, feel so much better. It's also great for hang overs as well but don't forget to order the extra side of tripe. This restaurant is family owned and operated by a very kind Vietnamese family. A staple of fresh viet cuisine in tempe for the last few decades. Try their other delicious dishes and you will not be disappointed!!“

“Went out for lunch with my brother looking for more places that also offer vegetarian options for him and we were in the mood for Vietnamese. This was one of the results closest to us and as soon as we walked in we were seated, the menu provided a vegetarian section for him to choose from. I ended up ordering the spring rolls and the beef meatballs pho, while he ordered the vegetarian vermicelli bowl. Food arrived very fast. I always taste the broth of the pho before I add condiments and was happy with how delicious the broth was, no extra fish sauce or salt needed. At the end I noticed the fridge with some desserts and saw they had basil seed, ordered it and it was the perfect amount of sweet with the sweetener they gave me. Will come back to try the Bun bo hue and papaya salad.“

“Place isn’t fancy at all but the food is the best Vietnamese food I found in Phoenix. Everything is reasonably priced, comes out fast and is delicious. A hidden gem that I’m glad I found. I literally have cravings for their lemongrass chicken.“

“The garlic fries are some of the best I have ever had. That alone brings me back. The spring rolls are huge. And the pho is delicious. The Thai tea is also delicious. The atmosphere is so nice, calm, and relaxing! I love this place for a date night! Small seating area so offers more intimate atmosphere. On Sunday's the pho is 1/2 price!“

“They have lots of authentic and harder-to-find Vietnamese dishes and desserts, such as the amazing bánh ướt thịt nướng. The thinly sliced, soy sauce–marinated pork was sweet and savory. This was balanced with the large rice noodle sheets and fresh vegetables. The fish sauce also added some depth and spiciness from the chilis.
The bánh canh cua was also great. The broth was thick and well seasoned, with flavors of seafood, chives, onions, and fresh coriander. There is also a unique, peppery nutmeg flavor from the annatto oil. There were quail eggs and large shrimp, but not very much crab meat, which makes sense for the price of the dish. The noodles are hand-cut but quite soft.
The service os friendly and fast, and the restaurant is situated in a food court inside Mekong Plaza.“

Very cute shop, excellent customer service. I think everyone NEEDS to get to experience this pho! Yes it’s 109 degrees outside and I have tears in my eyes from eating this. Not only healing my body but genuinely made my soul happy. I’m coming back.

“Our new favorite Pho place! My husband and I came here for the first time around 8:20ishpm, mind you they close at 9:30 but they told us to take our time and enjoy our food and that they will stay till 10pm. ( We still ended up leaving around 9:30) Fast Service! All the employees were sooooo sweet and nice! Food was delicious and absolutely full with flavor!!! 20/10 for sure!! Will be coming back here more often!!“

“First time here eating their Pho. The broth really didn't have much flavor, and slim picking on the meat. But the bean sprouts and veggies were fresh! We also had their egg rolls and beef sandwich. Those were absolutely amazing, like 10/10 for both. The sauce for the rolls was sweet and paired well. The sandwich had fresh ingredients, the bread was delicious, and I seriously couldn't get enough of it. Definitely will be there again, just wouldn't recommend the Pho.“

“I am currently experiencing sandwich nirvana. If I had known this place was so good I would have been ordering 100 bahn mi a day. Had SBG bahn mi, it was larger than expected! The total was $8. Which might be a little high, but it is so good that I dont care. They do take out and delivery (through grub hub). I must go back for pho and other delights from Saigon.“

“I’ve been working in the area and coming here for a little over 2 years and the customer service is always amazing, this place gives you a real sense of community. The boba, pho, and sweet treats are consistently delicious and I try to come on a weekly basis. I highly recommend this spot to get some food and watch your favorite animes while you hang out!“
