“Although I like Betty’s roost, I am very disappointed that they changed their breakfast hours to go until 12. Our group will have to find another place to have lunch, sadly.“

“UPDATE.....It's only fair that I update my previous review. We decided to try the Friday nite fish fry and it was way better than we expected. The entire experience was several notches above our previous visit. The special was served in nice sized basket with the cod nestled on top of the fries. This kept the cod away from the grease that always gathers in the basket bottom and very crispy, the way I like it. The cod was large, crispy, and tasty. Generous portion. Fries were also crispy and well seasoned. Came with the traditional cole slaw and tartar sauce. Not a complaint, but wish the cole slaw portion was a little larger. The service was wonderful, friendly and just the right amount of attention. The restaurant is very clean and attractive, and the views of the golf course are far superior to looking out a window and watching traffic crawl along Bell Road. Still a bit too noisy, but not a major issue. They've clearly fixed lots of things since our last visit...KUDOS...we will be back.

PREVIOUS....Thought (hoped actually) that the fourth time would be the charm. Unfortunately, not. Quality of food and services is unpredictable. If you enjoy surprises this should be at the top of your to do list (assuming you don’t mind the words tasteless, undercooked, mystery, and strange being associated with your meal, and wait staff that define the word WAIT). But, to be fair and based on experience, you’ve got about a 40-50% chance of a moderately decent meal and pleasant overall experience. But I’m done gambling. I won’t comment on our last experience, as one of our other party members has already done a detailed review of each of the dinners that were ordered.“

“We finally made it to Mike's Wings/Waffles Burger here in our community of Sun City West~it was most definitely worth it:) My BF ordered the Catfish Combo, while I had the Waffle Burger, with a side of Deep-Friend Cauliflower and a Side of Ranch Dressing...All our food was both fresh and delicious, plus generous in sizing!! Will absolutely be frequenting this fun and tasty restaurant again SOON~THANKS!!“

“We had a surprise birthday dinner party for my husband and everything was terrific! Our server, Gina, handled about 25 people with efficiency, humor and grace. We all ordered off the menu and our meals were served promptly, hot and De-Lish! I would not hesitate to book my next party or just dinner at Lou's. By the way, I ordered the meatloaf special and it was perfect. Hubby had the fetticine with shrimp and loved it! Salads were fresh and crisp.“

“The Buffalo chicken pizza is amazing. We were just at Lou Malnati's last weekend for the same kind of pizza and this is 10 times better! Our server, Makynzie, is an amazing person and server! Our drinks never go empty and she makes you smile because her smile is contagious! The owner listens to customers' feedback with appreciation. This is why this bar/restaurant is so successful! Do yourself a favor (if you like some fun) and check out this family-friendly neighborhood bar for yourself!“

“We like eating at the local spots not the chains. This was our 1st time and we will be back. The service was friendly and staff was knowledgeable for our questions. We hadthe onion dog with fries. Both came out ht and fresh. Also ordered the BLT salad with grilled chicken. I am a picky eater and it was great to be able to order a salad and not take a bunch of stuff off. The garlic ranch it came with was also very good. We are looking forward to coming back.“

“I go to Wildflower about 2 to 3 times a week, sometimes I bring friends or family too. When I go to order I see Laura the manager, who reminds me to put in my phone #, she is always friendly and personable. I once said to her - I appreciate you and she said : We appreciate you. Usually Makayla will bring my food and I love that she is always smiling and so sweet and kind- Part of the reason I come here is because the food is great and the other part is because the staff is AMAZING !“

“Wine tasting was great as always. Definitely recommend for those who have not been there. Dinner was a little disappointing as they ran out of there shortribs and it was only 7:30, and the pretzel bread was late being served for same reason.“

The server that brought the food almost dropped one of the plates on the floor. He took it to get it cleaned up and left the one that was perfectly fine. My daughter was left sitting there for 5+ minutes while my friend got to eat. The whole table should be served at once, even if there is a problem like we had. He hadn't served my friend yet, so he could have taken her plate back with him as well. But I'm just nit-picking. My daughter had the Very Cherry Ghirardelli Cheesecake for dessert . She thought the chocolate was almost overpowering. My friend got the Coconut Cream Pie Cheesecake for dessert and thought it was alright.“

“Haymaker has been our favorite local restaurant since we moved to AZ 6 years ago. When they moved across the street to their new location - it’s even more our favorite restaurant. The new location is bright, clean and airy. Food is the same great quality as their original menu. Breakfast for dinner is the best. Servers are friendly and very attentive. Braden is the best! “In a time where prices are going up & income is not, this gem in a hole is it! The Reuben sandwich with fries and coleslaw? Supreme. Delicious. My spouse didn't want to stop taking bites for a quick pick. Lol. I ordered the fried shrimp with fries and slaw. Shrimp is crispy, not over fried. Fries are crispy on the outside, soft in the middle. Yum. And it was only $10.99. New owners. It's now Ken' Kitchen. Freshly made to order. The best kind of service. Thank you Ken's Kitchen!“

“Order was over $200 called one hour after it was supposed to be there. lots of excuses. Never came, ruined a birthday party. No apology or compensation for the fiasco that they created. I wasn't charged but that hardly made up for the disappointment and ruining a party.“

“I very much enjoyed my morning breakfast of a Chorizo Benni. Such wonderful flavors and a perfectly poached egg. ? When I asked my server about it, she said it was her favorite on the menu, and now I know why. I highly recommend if you like poached eggs (runny yoke) and a bit spicier foods.

Vegetarian options: I did notice some vegetarian options on the menu but did not order any.“

“Clean, quick service, good value. Four of us ordered original double burgers, fries, chili cheese hot dog, milk shake, onion rings, and turtle signature custard sundae. It was alll good. Nothing special about teh fry sauce,which they sell in big bottles. The burger was dry and needed sauce of some sort but teen son liked the Freddy’s burger better than In-N-Out.“
