“This place is a staple for us anytime we go out to Lake Pleasant. Honestly, even if we are not actually going to the lake, we will still go out of our way to stop here if we are even remotely close. It has become one of those places we just look forward to.
The burgers are great, and the service has always been really good every time we have been in. Everyone we have met there, from the staff to other people stopping in, has always been friendly and easygoing. It has a comfortable, local, lake-day kind of feel that makes you want to come back.
They have plenty of parking for boats and trailers, which makes it so much easier when you are coming from or heading to the lake. They also have outdoor seating, which is nice, but after a hot day out on Lake Pleasant, that cold AC inside feels amazing.
The place has been around for a long time, and you can tell it has a lot of history with the lake crowd. I also like looking at the pictures of all the nice catches over on the bait shop side. It is just a solid, dependable spot with good food, good service, and a great lake atmosphere.“

Tonight, my husband ordered a beer that they need to replace and they had issues getting the new keg open and they brought him a small sample of something similar, then when it took longer than expected they brought a slightly larger size, and when it became apparent they wouldn’t be able to get the beer he wanted open, he ordered a replacement of the sample in a larger size. The attentive service and kind gestures went a long way to making our evening more special because they could have just as easily said they were out and asked for his back up choice from the start. Well earned 5 stars. Our waitress, Ernestine, was a delight and the manager (?) or gentleman in the white collared shirt, Dom, was also very attentive.“

“Decided to take mom to Red Lobster in Suprise.She ordered the grilled trout which she loved. My husband 's meal was a new York strip cooked to perfection. I had the salmon new Orleans which was also very good. The waitress was very kind and brought mom an ice cream desert and everyone helped sing happy birthday. My mom was smiling from ear to ear. “Haymaker has been our favorite local restaurant since we moved to AZ 6 years ago. When they moved across the street to their new location - it’s even more our favorite restaurant. The new location is bright, clean and airy. Food is the same great quality as their original menu. Breakfast for dinner is the best. Servers are friendly and very attentive. Braden is the best! “Was actually on the way to Texas Roadhouse but I mentioned I'd never been to Longhorn neither had my wife. So we went and I ordered the 22oz longhorn and my lady the 12oz New York strip. We also tried the chicken strips as an appetizer, Parmesean Fries, and Mac and cheese. All deliciously cooked to perfection.
Ordered medium well and got a medium well.
Impressed with our waitress Elizabeth. Attentive and Helpful she was the peak of our Longhorn experience.. the restaurant also has amazing ambiance and comforting atmosphere which had me struggling to stay awake after I had nearly put myself into a food coma.. 10/10 will return.“

“I very much enjoyed my morning breakfast of a Chorizo Benni. Such wonderful flavors and a perfectly poached egg. ? When I asked my server about it, she said it was her favorite on the menu, and now I know why. I highly recommend if you like poached eggs (runny yoke) and a bit spicier foods.

Vegetarian options: I did notice some vegetarian options on the menu but did not order any.“

“5 star food service and atmosphere. Great menu choices for everyone including sushi not usually seen in a sports bar and even got to talk to the chef who is very informative as soon as we got there. A gentleman with a black cowboy hat said it was open seating. Suggested a few areas the waitress was there within seconds. It was busy because it was a Sunday afternoon games were on got the drinks fast and the food was served hot and in a reasonable time I would highly recommend this place. This was the first time we will be back.“
