“Excellent Fish Fry. Excellent Rueben ! Very friendly servers!! Love the small town diner ambiance, and pro shop vibe. The chicken breast was entirely too tough on the sandwich, and nothing but a butter knife to cut it. The beef and vegetable soup got great reviews from my wife and sister.“
“This review is way overdue, but this place is amazing. Not only is everything so delicious, the people are the nicest people ever. We ate our dessert there, and the owner actually asked us how we liked everything and made sure that we were happy with our food. You could tell that he takes a lot of pride in making sure they are giving a very good quality product.“
“This one of our favorite neighborhood coffee shops and one of the best creative coffee shops that we get to visit. If you want to have a fun experience, a taste of Hawaii and deliciously crafted drinks, you definitely want to stop by 808 Social. Their sparkling lemonades are beautifully delicious. My new favorite coffee is the Ubelicious that has a uniquely sweet ube flavor on top of the smooth yet robust bean (coffee).“
“I caved tacos for breakfast and I was not disappointed. This place opened at 7 AM. I ordered carne asada street tacos on corn tortillas. The salsa bar had nice options to top my tacos. I also had some horchata. SOOOOOO gooooood. I'll be going back soon.“
“Service is always excellent. My go to for coffee nearby, I always go for the Cinnamon dolce latte personally, their brown sugar lattes are very good too. They have a list where they organized their syrups from less sweet to most sweet which I love, I always try to go for less sweet. Normally have a wide enough selection of pastries to choose from and all are pretty delicious, plus their bagels and sandwiches they can serve too.“
“Out on lunch with the team before gettin at the mission for the day.. these La Tortilla was recommended by one of my teammates and it did not disappoint!!! Ms Audrey was super hospitable and the food did not take as long as we anticipated. Fresh, hot, cheese still melting as you bite into it!! This is definitely a lunch spot rotation contender amongst the boys! 8.7/10“
“I came from the Northeast to visit family and this was by far the best ice cream I've ever had. I couldn't believe the amount of flavors they had. You are bound to find many that you will like, so I recommend the 4 scoop sampler. It may get very busy at times, so I also suggest ordering for pick up to save yourself a bit of a wait.Enjoy!“
“Stumbled upon this place several years ago in N Scottsdale and glad I did. Mexican food like it ought to be cooked, not TEX MEX,thank goodness, do not lower your standards of quality of ingredients as I've seen this time and time again with some other Mexican " chains". servers are hit and miss, some good, some could be better and improve their skills. I drive out of the way as you don't have a NE Tempe or /NWMesa location yet?“
“Star Donuts in Surprise, Arizona, is truly a gem! The warm and friendly atmosphere created by the lovely family who runs the place enhances the entire experience. Not only are they welcoming, but the donuts are also a delightful treat that easily secures the title of "the best." From classic favorites to innovative creations, each bite is a testament to their dedication to quality. A visit to Star Donuts is not just about savoring delicious treats; it's about being embraced by a wonderful community. Five stars without a doubt!Kid-friendliness: They are so friendly and patient. Always letting my son who is autistic, pick out his drink, and his doughnut and paying himself.“
“It's Taco Tuesday and I just want to say that I have found the BEST tacos! These are amazing tacos and the best I have had! I found this place on Yelp awhile back and just haven't had the chance to go yet, but did today. This is a food truck called Lost Burro and they are usually at this location, 83rd and Peoria Ave. It's not in Surprise, but a close and short drive. We had the quesabirria tacos, carne asada/steak tacos, al pastor taco, smoked beef taco, and shrimp tacos. The carne asada tacos were SO flavorful! They come with an avocado crema that's awesome. My husband said the al pastor was the best he has had! They had pickled pineapple on them. I also had the shrimp tacos and I loved them SO MUCH! They look spicy with their coloring and spices, but they were pretty mild. They also had walnuts on them, which I thought gave them a nice crunch. The quesabirria tacos were delicious! We also had refried beans (I forgot to take a pic) and I liked them; they have a little spice and kick. My husband got the strawberry horchata and he said it was so tasty and refreshing! I thought it was really cute how they presented it. The smoked beef taco is so interesting and something I haven't seen before but it was delicious as well. These are the best damn tacos! They alsp have other things on the menu, like burritos, quesadillas, nachos, and other stuff. The customer service was great and they checked on us multiple times and helped us with the menu since we were new. I keep thinking about them and am already planning my return. You will not be disappointed! Lost Burro Food Truck 8340 W Peoria Ave, Peoria, AZ 85345“
“Great selection of beers. The tap list rotates frequently, so there's always something new to try. Also a nice fridge with many beers/ciders in it that you can have them open. I haven't had any of the wine here but based on others who have, they seem to really enjoy it.They also let you bring in outside food/will call in an order for you to nearby restaurants which is cool.“
“**Tacolicioso Food Truck: A Feast for the Senses**Tacolicioso stands as a culinary highlight in the city, a place where I find myself drawn to weekly for their standout dishes: carne asada nachos and vampire tacos. The nachos are a symphony of flavors, with tender carne asada and rich, gooey cheese atop crispy chips, creating an unforgettable bite. The vampire tacos, with their crispy cheese shell and succulent filling, are nothing short of a masterpiece, showcasing Tacolicioso's flair for innovative Mexican cuisine. The atmosphere at Tacolicioso matches the excellence of their food - vibrant, friendly, and utterly welcoming. It's not just a meal; it's an experience, enriched by the warmth of the staff who make every visit special. For anyone craving authentic Mexican flavors with a creative twist, Tacolicioso is a must. It’s more than food; it’s a celebration of culinary artistry that keeps you coming back for more.“
“Lovely cafe with some really creative drinks! Lots of holiday selections but I went for the cold brew float drink— gelato with cold brew concentrate. It was a huge scoop of gelato and tasted amazing and got a nice caffeine kick. And the place is very spacious and quiet and relaxing with large windows and high ceilings. Great place to chill for a bit in the afternoon or work out of here as they have big tables and wifi.“
“I did take out, but have eaten there and the ambiance is fine. Our sandwich and soup were wonderful, certainly enough protein in the sandwich and the corn poblano soup was excellent. One sandwich and soup bowl was plenty shared by my husband and me for “
“54 dollars for 2 subs , pizza , salad , wings is amazing. As a mom who works and is in school busy isnt even the word, I love cooking but I'm always exhausted so? I use them for meal prep and that's literally 8 meals for me and my kids .Just add mickey mouse goldfish and fruit. Like its literally the best!!!Everyone in there is so nice and reminds me of home and family . so it's so comforting and safe.? 12 out of 10 solid????“
“My favorite little coffee shop. Their coffee is delicious, prices are fair for such high quality. I love the vibe, the employees and the owner. I’ve been popping over a few times per week since they opened in 2019 and I’m so delighted we have such a wonderful locally owned, operated coffee shop in our community. They’re really committed to relationships and community and it shows in everything they do!“
“Molto bene! Having lived in Sicily for some time the food and atmosphere took me back. I had the Siciliano for drinks, octopuses and calamari for an appetizer, and the cured meat penni sandwich for my entre. Oh, so delicious. All around the table had great food. Our server was awesome, kind, and sweet.“
“We had Taqueria El Sol out for an Art Market at Ground Floor Artists is Surprise, AZ (non profit Art Organization) and they were FANTASTIC all around.Wonderful customer service, extremely professional yet personal, great follow through and it was so easy to schedule them to be at our event. The food was top notch and all our shoppers/patrons raved about all the food. Thank you so much for being so wonderful. We will recommend Taqueria El Sol to all our friends and for all our and our friends events!“
“Best hot dogs in AZ. The taste is awesome , customer service and over all the best part is that you can personally add everything to it- they have a selfserve condiments ??. I rate them with 5 starts. I live in Phoenix and i drive 40 minutes just to have this hot dogs i no longer buy anywhere else since i found them.“
“It's a new place here in the West Valley. We were delighted about how delicious the sushi was. We have only been here several times, and each time was a pleasant experience. Sushi and our appetizer were so flavorful. We sat outside. Enjoyed the scenery and the lovely weather. My favorite was the Tropical Island. It was all pretty pretty good.“
“Super awesome sandwich, but super duper expensive. I wish I could make this a regular place to eat, but there’s no way I can afford to go here more than 3-4 times a year. I can eat for 3 days buying groceries for the prices of these sandwiches.“
“The staff here are always so nice and engaging. The store is also incredibly clean. Staff talks to our kiddos and is very helpful. We only get shakes, and they are always made perfectly. We don't live close to this location, but enjoy our time when we get the opportunity to visit.“
“awesome staff Gabe ,Bradon, Kaylea, Hoss , all the staff is wonderful. come down and join then in second great food and atmosphere. And some FREE TEXAS HOLD EM every Monday at 6pm. win a gift certificate for that venue. highly recommend The Links neighborhood Grill and golf course .“
“Amazing Experience! The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. The fare is out of this world delicious. The decor and music was lovely. You can tell everyone here takes the utmost pride in what they do.10 out of 10 will definitely come here again!!!“
“Hey! Good morning and Happy New Year! I just wanted to drop by and say a big thank you to Matthew, Dave (the owner), and the whole staff for being super friendly and welcoming last night when we came in for dinner and stayed a bit for the New Year's Eve glow party. The vibe in there was so cozy and inviting. We tried out the burnt end tips, brisket poutine, and smoked wings - and let me tell you, it was some of the best barbecue I've had since we moved here from South Carolina. I was totally expecting some sweet potato sides to satisfy my Southern cravings though! ☺️☺️“
“I called same day to make a reservation. Olivia ( hostess) answered the phone. This girl is phenomenal y’all! Not only did she talk with management to arrange a last minute reservation for 15, when we got there, she made sure our table was perfect for us and it was ready 45 minutes early on a busy night!! Her customer service skills are beyond exceptional and she singularly made the night exceptional. Not a lot of thought goes in to the hostess but I host many get togethers at bars and I can tell you the hostess can make or break the event. This girl is fantastic and I can only hope she is given the recognition she deserves! Thank you Olivia!!!! We will absolutely be back thanks to you!!!“
“Excellent food. The French toast was exceptional. The bacon was perfectly crispy. Everything was top quality. The service was great. The hostess was friendly and helpful. We definitely will be back.Parking: A few places are battling for parking spots. You’ll be able to park, but you might have to walk 30 yards (worst case)Kid-friendliness: Not really geared for kids because of the acoustics. If you have a screaming kid, other guests will give you the eyeWheelchair accessibility: ADA compliant“
“I love all Dutch Bros, but I can say this location specifically is my favorite!! No matter who is working that day, they always consistently have great customer service and energetic atmosphere!Kid-friendliness: My kids love coming to Dutch Bros, because the employees interact with them. And of course they love their frost kids drinks!“
“Was at golden spoke getting some tubes for my sons bike, walked outside and saw the truck setting up. Drove around for about an hour and went back to get some slices! Some of the best pizza I have had in a while! Highly recommend! The owners were very sweet as well. 10/10“
“Rob has been slanging the weenies like a pro! Great guy, hot dogs are always A1 and the music is always on point. I typically don't write too many reviews but after coming to Scrunch's dawgs for a few months now, my son and I have made it a weekly tradition. I recently forgot my punch card that just hit the 10 dog mile stone. Rob not only remembered I left it but recalled the interaction too. Can't rave enough over coming to this spot for a quick dog.“
“I am visiting from NC and decided to try something that we don't have in my area. The macarons are so delicious! I ended up buying a box to take home to my husband. I love how it is sturdy for air travel. Thanks for the perfect sweet treat!“
“Great local bar and food! Perfect place for a quiet date night or family meal. The wings were perfect, pizza was excellent and so was the manicotti. A special thank you to our server, Amber…exceptional hospitality! Looking forward to returning and trying more items on the menu!“
“Really good beer and friendly staff, and the beer won't break the bank. Their Blood Orange IPA is one of their flagship brews, no wonder, it's so tasty, and BTW. They have craft mac and cheese on their menu, yum.3/3/24, today they held a painting class. For $30 an instructor assisted about 20 people techniques to help them make their paintings stand out, all this while drinking great beers and eating good food. They were serving Rip and Snort Hazy IPA and it was so good I took home a growler of it home. The appetizers we had rounded out the night 2 sliders, fried zucchini and a pretzel, cooked to perfection.Parking: There are two locations to park, in the main Chevy Square lot and another lot behind Hungry Howies.Kid-friendliness: They have board games and pinball machines as well.“
“Delicious! My first time here, and I ordered three different tacos: the original, vampiro, and the toasted. My favorite was the vampiro. There was a bit of a wait after ordering, but it was 6:45 at the height of dinner hour. It was worth it.“
“Truly the best if you are looking for a welcoming and down to earth atmosphere with fresh food, amazing craft drinks and relaxing and good time. You will never know until you try it. Urban Agave won't disappoint. Oh and try their Cucumber Jalapeno & Cilantro Margaritas and any appetizer or entree. They all rock!“
“This is the BEST PLACE. They have 2 different signs posted saying NO OUTSIDE FOOD OR DRINK, but why would you want to bring in food into a place like this. There was a review i would like to give a different perspective from on here because i was in the building for this exchange. A customer is stating they had an issue with the employees saying they cant have their “water cups” saying they dont sell water. They have multiple different options for drinking from bottles of tea, sparkiling flavored soda water, to their fountain drinks in the corner. They are even able to get you water from behind counter. Be considerate if they are busy and try to catch them at a good time. But regarding this post of the people claiming this on one of their pizza nights they were sitting in the back right by their fountain drinks and they i saw the brown colored “water” they had in there cups in their navy blue cups they brought in. Glad it wasnt my business or I wouldnt have been as nice about the drinks.“
“Just like anywhere else these days, they need more staff. They really try hard, but the servers are stretched too thin. They do a good job with what they have, but…. It could be better. They have an empty humidor for over three years there, wish they’d sell cigars.“
“Tried 5 dishes to go. Orange Chicken, Kung Pao Chicken, and Mongolian Beef were wonderful and spicy. Beef with Broccoli was good/average. The Chicken Lo Mein was overcooked...noodles were mushy. The food was packed perfectly to stay hot for the ride home. Would definitely return.“
“Stopped by 1/30/24 about 3:40pm. First time here with my 2 boys. Was recommended to try. Jordan the cashier was very polite and let us taste some flavors to decide what we wanted. Customer service was 10/10 and employees on shift worked pretty fast. The outside patio area was very clean and nice. We sat and ate our ice cream and had a nice experience. WE WILL BE BACK ?“
“If you can find seating, it is a win win. Tough to get seating on a Friday or Saturday early evening, as would be expected, which just goes to show that it is a good spot to visit and get some pizza. Pricing is fair/reasonable, menu is diverse enough and toppings can be customized of course. Friendly staff, quick service and great atmosphere. Live band/musicians on a Friday evening was welcomed. Will visit again and recommended.“
“Driftwood is by far one of my favorite places to visit. The Coffee is always amazing and the service it fantastic. The staff is super friendly and takes their time to make the coffee right. The seasonal menu always has something new and exciting to “
“This took me back to my childhood. Some called the flavor 50-50, some called it Dream Sickle. It was perfection. You will not be disappointed if you are expecting an experience from your past or if it is your first time trying this ice cream.“
“Need a quick lunch option? Grab a slice. These guys have some nice lunch specials combinations. Slice and salad, wings and salad, slice and wings all under 10 bucks. Now a day you can't beat that. Friendly staff nice little seating area. Love the cassette decor on the wall. The ranch is amazing you can tell they love what they do here.“
“The food was really good. Staff accommodated our needy toddler and was patient when a spilled happened. I appreciated their understanding and willingness to help resolve the issue. We stayed awhile chatting and didn't feel rushed to leaveDid I mention the food was sooooo good? I got the fresh berries waffles and they were so fluffy, sweet and topped with the perfect amount of fresh whipped cream.I would definitely eat here again.“
“Bloody Mary's, Mimosas, good food, and loud Music. This is Brunch with a style. Build your own Bloody Mary let's you pick your toppings from over 50 pickled vegetables, fruits, meats, and even some fried toppings. For those who like spicy bloody marys go with the Habanero spice and pickled peppers. The Elote is a great eggs Benedict with a Latin twist. Service was great. The hosts said a wait of thirty to thirty five mintues and we, a six top, were seated in less than fifteen.“
“Just tried this for the first time! What a beautiful patio and view and the food is even better!! Open your horizons because we got some authentic Spanish, Puerto Rican, central and South American food!! I’ve been to all those places and this is above and beyond what I’ve had before!! Love it and so grateful it is in my back yard!“
“The service was friendly and the staff knew their menu well. It was clean and organized. The food arrived in a timely manner and was hot and delicious. I had The wings and the sampler plate.I highly Recommend trying. I will Be returning.Vegetarian options: They do have a couple options for vegetarians“
“Everything from here is delicious! I can't stop raving about this place. I love the small details that make it extra special. Even just a plain bagel and cream cheese comes with a side of sour cherry spread that is soooo good! The chips that come with the bagel sammies taste homemade. Definitely recommend.“
“Always great food and friendly atmosphere. The service is not consistent and not timely. We only had a party of 5 the last time we visited. The last few times, we brought 15-20 people with us, and the service was way faster. It was the same amount of people in the restaurant, just in a different section. What saves them is their good food & margaritas.“
“Went there after leaving somewhere else that I was totally disappointed in, Tivoli gardens was such a nice change, old school Italian restaurant, wonderful service, delicious food and such a pleasant environment, lovely sitting outside with twinkle lights.“
