“If you are celiac this is your dream restaurant. They have a gluten free bread basket with 5 different gf breads. It’s literally celiac heaven. We got the shrimp skewers, meatballs, and an enchilada flatbread and they all were amazing and gf. I am also allergic to dairy and the chef came out talked about what I could I have and any modifications she could make if needed. “Last minute dinner choice. We sat at the bar on a Friday, ordered a drink - the Paloma was good and refreshing. Also ordered crab wontons, egg rolls, pork fried rice and chicken lo mein. Crab wontons were good, but definitely can taste the crab if you have anyone who prefers more cream cheese and less crab, this wouldn't be for them. The egg rolls were more plentiful with 6 halves. The rice in the fried rice was overcooked, you could mush it with your fork, not sure if this is their way to prepare or just truly overcooked. I prefer more firm rice. Chicken lo mein was good, thinner noodles than I expected, but good ingredients and flavor.“

I got a chocolate chip cookie and an oatmeal raisin cookie to try for the first time. Both were so tasty and chewy, just how I like them. They had other fun cookies too. “Really good pizza and a nice salad bar. They staff makes your salad as you tell them what you want on it, like a Subway style salad bar. All the ingredients tasted and looked fresh. The pizza was delicious. The crust was not thick but also not thin. It was light and puffy and was easy to bite through. I had the Barro's Special (I think that's what it was named) and my wife had a Kona Hawaiian pizza with chicken instead of ham. Both pizzas had plenty of toppings on them and both had delicious flavor. My wife also ordered the Salt and Vinegar wings. They weren't nearly as good as the pizzas. The wings were a little overcooked and dried out. I felt like they had way too much salt on them and the vinegar taste was quite strong. I don't think we would order the wings again, but we would definitely eat the pizza and salad again. I recommend giving Barro's Pizza a try. They had a steady customer flow while we were there. It appeared to be a favorite place for locals.“

“This is the BEST PLACE. They have 2 different signs posted saying NO OUTSIDE FOOD OR DRINK, but why would you want to bring in food into a place like this. There was a review i would like to give a different perspective from on here because i was in the building for this exchange. A customer is stating they had an issue with the employees saying they cant have their “water cups” saying they dont sell water. They have multiple different options for drinking from bottles of tea, sparkiling flavored soda water, to their fountain drinks in the corner. They are even able to get you water from behind counter. Be considerate if they are busy and try to catch them at a good time. But regarding this post of the people claiming this on one of their pizza nights they were sitting in the back right by their fountain drinks and they i saw the brown colored “water” they had in there cups in their navy blue cups they brought in. Glad it wasnt my business or I wouldnt have been as nice about the drinks.“
“I had been trying some different meal services and didn't love any of them, until I tried the Vegan Taste! Ordering is so easy and I love how you don't have to pick and choose different meals. The 6 varieties were all delicious, but my favorite part is how you can ask for no meat alternatives, no oil, and extra spicy. All for the meals were to flavorful! The delivery person was so nice and gave me a heads up before they arrived. I think that everyone would like these meals, even people who are non-vegans. But the one thing that stands out to me versus some competitors (nothing is quite like Nekter) is the customer service you receive once you set foot in the door. The Nekter team always acknowledges you and ensures you are taken care of. Even if they had just been in the back, they promptly come out and immediately greet anyone that had walked in the door. If you are waiting for your online order and sit down, they call your name before putting it in the freezer. This is opposite of an experience I had at Jamba Juice earlier this week. Customer service has always been good here for me, and they make the food quick. They have a mix area of seating with bar seating, tables, and couch/chairs area. “Tales from the vineyard a four-course meal with accompanied wine. The first course was a crab salad with a fig vinaigrette the crab meat was in a mixture with herbs and bread crumbs. It laid a top of a bed of romaine and spinach with roasted carrots, grape tomatoes, red onion, tossed lightly in a fig vinaigrette sprinkled with toasted pistachios. The rosé that accompanied the salad didn't need to be sweet because the fig vinaigrette was. The flavor combination of this went very well together. Course 2 was a lemon ricotta rigatoni with chicken. The lemon rigatoni was tossed lightly in a thin Alfredo sauce that had sun-dried tomatoes peas and asparagus. Everything was topped with a fresh whipped ricotta that was sprinkled with wood grilled chicken chunks. The smokiness from the chicken was very appetizing and the Alfredo had a very strong asparagus taste to it. Course 3 was a wood grilled sirloin cooked medium topped with a gorgonzola herb crown. The sirloin melted in your mouth, it was cooked perfectly. The Gorgonzola cheese sauce that accompanied this dish was very light and went well with the sirloin. You could kind of taste a little bit of dry mustard, grated Parmesan in with the Gorgonzola cheese. The wine that accompanied this course was my favorite it had a blend of Sangiovese, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, that went very well with the sirloin. It had such a rich bold flavor to it just what you're looking for with the perfect sirloin. Course four, chocolate budino with pistachio. I really like how this dessert was not overly sweet. Didn't use a dark chocolate for the base, it was more like an unsweetened milk chocolate. The cocoa powder that was used was a very high quality. Not sure if it didn't have time to set up but the ones we had at our table were still the consistency of milk. It was very flavorful and the ingredients did mix very well. Our information said it was supposed to be topped with a pistachio brittle but it was just crushed pistachios, which was very tasty. The Merlot at acompanied this dessert matched very well. The reason I gave them a four-star on the food instead of five were the Rosemary carrots were not edible, had too much of the rosemary herb on it, as I looked around everybody else's plate look like the same thing with the carrots a full serving left on the plate. My sirloin I could only eat half of it the first half texture was spot on but the other half had too much gristle in it to eat it. It was season well it was cooked well and not really Carrabba's fault about the gristle.“
