“Some places you visit once and forget. Tacos Rodriguez is not one of those places. I first came here with one of my best friends and we went all in — Carne Asada fries, Carne Asada tacos, the works. Everything was incredible. So when I found myself housesitting in the area, coming back was a no-brainer.

This time I kept it simple: a large Horchata and the Carne Asada burrito. Perfect decision. The burrito was packed, flavorful, and exactly what I remembered — the kind of food that earns a food truck a permanent spot in your rotation. And that Horchata? Honestly one of the better ones I’ve had.

The portions are generous, the price is right, the vibe is great, and the staff is genuinely friendly every single time. This place has consistency locked down, which is hard to find anywhere let alone at a food truck.

“We booked the food truck for a corporate event and were absolutely blown away by Laura and Veanney. They were incredibly easy to work with, our team loved them, and most importantly, the scookies were SO good. They showed up with plenty of time to set up, had fun music playing for our employees, and provided great service and recommendations for everyone. “I first came to the Pemberton with some friends for karaoke almost a year ago, having never tried singing before, much less in front of an audience. I figured I would give it a shot, and got talked into going up and doing a solo. I was incredibly nervous and sounded terrible as one would expect. However, to my surprise, I found myself wanting to go back up.

Why? Well the host, Jazzy, does an incredible job of making it safe space for everyone. She goes the extra mile to ensure that people of all skill levels and backgrounds feel welcome, to the point that you can just be yourself. With the help of the comfortable atmosphere that Jazzy creates, and my friends and peers cheering me on, I was able to put all of my fears aside and continue to sing (or scream) my heart out.

I became a regular here with my friends, making sure to leave my Sundays open. Karaoke with Jazzy became something I could look forward to in my week, a time to escape from all my stresses such as after having a week full of exams. With time, I began to improve my singing skills, and found that I'm not so bad after all. With the freedom to be ourselves, my friends and I would find all sorts of ways to have fun, whether it barking for one another, creating a fake band full of air guitarists and drummers, or putting on skits. With all the excitement, we always found our group expanding and making new friends with every visit. Karaoke at the Pemberton grew to be an important part of my life.

I would like to give a special shoutout to Jazzy, DJ T-Last, and my favorite employee, Tatum, for making my experience here at the Pemberton such an incredible time :)

“I first had Frosted Frenzy when they were in my neighborhood in Gilbert over a year ago, and ever since, I knew I wanted to have their mini cupcakes at my wedding. I’ve been talking with Tami about this for over a year!! My wedding was last Friday, and the cupcakes were of course a dream. Tami is so genuine and kind, and she just truly makes the best cupcakes ever!! We had 300 minis for 88 guests, and we had a couple leftovers to enjoy afterwards, too.
