“Fried chicken skin & hush puppies as appetizers followed by BBQ Shrimp & Grits w/ side of black eyed peas with rice. Two in our party enjoyed the Hanger Steak and sautéed veggies.😋 Although not quite like our experience in New Orleans the chef still ‘brought it’! We will be back! 👍💯“

“Google Maps said this was a restaurant that was open late. And that's true, but it's also the restaurant for a hotel, so if you come by, you should know that.
The tacos and house salad were good, if a bit pricey. If you're coming in late looking for a meal, though, I recommend it.

“What a gem in Phoenix. Upon walking in I was greeted by everyone working - So welcoming. The place is clean and cozy and I loved the counter-vibe where I sat.
Food-wise it was fantastic. The fried catfish was straight outta the South. Mixed greens were so, so amazing - Full of flavor with the right light heat, no need to add anything. Mac and cheese was hearty and yummy, not soupy and bland. Cornbread topped off an amazing lunch, all washed down with some great sweet tea. Now one thing to note - They make the food fresh to order so it’s not a super quick lunch spot but oh my, worth the extra 5 or so minutes for fresh food.
Seriously, this place is good enough to run to on a long layover. 1000% I’m going every time I’m in Phoenix.“

“My husband was craving fried chicken, our son recommend this place. The chicken was excellent, atmosphere A+, service was outstanding. What was really nice, the GM walked to every table greeted everyone and thanked us for our patronage. You don't see that anymore“

“Calvin and the crew at Kickin' Crab were top shelf! And the food?!? The presentation, flavor combinations, and cook time were all spot-on. Who thought you could get a phenomenal seafood experience in the desserts of Arizona?!?

“Just got done eating here and it was amazing. Taste was perfect. Atmosphere was nice and quiet. I love the fact that thy actually put BBQ sauce on the meat. Everyplace I go to they never do that they let you do it which doesn’t make sense to me. Also when you pull up you can smell the smoke in the air. A++++“
