“Great local place with excellent food. Most importantly, they show a sense of connection with the community. Recently had their food when they donated to a local school. I could taste the appreciation for our community in every dish they provided. #SupportLocal“

“Service excellent, food inventive, delicious. Dark slick tile floors, unmarked change from floor to a step…there must be a bright reflective tape or paint for more than one site in the restaurant. I was injured falling having not seen nor felt the one step. Management was most solicitous and paid our bill. We would never have asked for this and were surprised and grateful.“

“As a new customer,, I really liked this pizza! I just finished the last bite of my one three-cheese slice, and it was quite satisfying, I must say. I love a chewy, cheese-crisped crust, and this was very much that both texturally and flavor-wise. It's always nice to actually have plenty of cheese on a pizza, especially a cheese pizza! The flavor was very good, with a sweeter sauce that honestly, I will ask for more of next time as it didn't seem like enough for my taste buds. The square was quite filling as the bread is thick, and though I was hungry, it was exactly enough for me, so don't let the smallish size fool you. The staff was really friendly and helpful, which is half of the food experience for me. I don't go back to places that can't smile and be glad that I'm there, especially as I'm always the friendly, happy customer. Folks are dissing the prices, which I understand as Tucson is a place that generally has a lower cost 9f living, and yes, you can get pizza for a bit less, but if you like a deep dish, very flavorful, tasty Detroit-inspired pizza, this will be worth a few more bucks. An 8x10" pizza is four rectangles, and if you're used to only round, it looks small, granted, but it's THICK, so it's really a lot and you get filled up! I didn't order anything else, but will go back to try a salad next. I love that it's also attached to Craft Brewery, as that's always been a favorite place of mine. The outside patio is huge with tons of seating, and the decor is very nice. Go have a beer and a slice, or more!“

“Alright, let me just say, this place is my favorite out of all the Borderland breweries. It’s just a nice little bike ride away from home, the perfect spot to sit back, talk about the week, and catch a glimpse of the sunset while you sip on a cold one. The beer here is solid, consistently good. If you’re into that kind of thing, it’s like a dependable old friend—nothing fancy, but it’s always there for you.
Now, the food? Well, I’ve seen it come out of the kitchen, and let’s just say it’s a little... skimpy. If you’re looking to get full, you’re better off drinking your calories and skipping the food. Save your money and your stomach—because what they serve up here isn’t exactly worth the chew. Trust me. I mean, you could probably get more nutrition out of the napkin they serve it on.
But hey, it’s all good. You’re here to drink, not to solve world problems. The place is chill—perfect for zoning out with your beer, laughing at the awkwardness around you, and being left alone. Days are busy with the sports crowd, but nights? It’s practically your own little private club, just you and the beer. The Wi-Fi? Solid. So if you’re here trying to get some work done (or, you know, reading this review), you’re set.
So yeah, grab your beer, avoid the food, and try not to stare too long at those wide-eyed counter guys. They're just doing their thing, trying to figure out how many whiteheads they can pop without someone noticing. But in the end, this place doesn’t pretend to be anything it’s not—it’s just a spot to chill. And that’s all we really need, right?“

“Smells like rotten meat as soon as you enter the establishment, so I did not have food there. Service was terrible. Server was rude and didn't make eye contact or connection. Just staring at the hand held order device. had to repeat myself 4 times to order a "double jack splash of coke on the rocks." I received soda and a splash of jack but was billed for a double. Atmosphere is less than desirable. I've been in dive bars with cleaner bathrooms. Terrible experience all around.“

“This is the best bread this side of the Mississippi, yes, you read that correctly, it's the absolute best! We moved to the area 6 months ago and tried all the bakeries in the wrea, and now we go out of our way for Barrio Bread.
Our favorite breads are the Jalapeno Cheddar, Cinnamon Raisin, Pain Au Levain, and Heritage.
The owner, Don Guerra, is always there, he is so nice, and seems so happy to share his passion for bread. There is usually a line, but totally worth the wait.
Must enjoy!“

“The food is incredible and the owner is the most real & incredible human. Story time: 5 or so years ago I went in to pick up food - I was having the worst day. I was sick, I was fighting with an awful human non stop and I had just finished a 22 day straight gem show job. I sat down to wait for my food and the owner saw my sorry state and just came out and started putting a bunch of shots of juice in front of me. Literally fixed my day and my life for moment. I get emotional just walking into this place. Nothing but warmth and love. ❤️❤️❤️“

“An individual owned restaurant that needs to be visited. Some of the best refried beans I've ever had were at this place. Nothing fancy, you get with you would expect food to be as stated on the menu, with dishes being home cooked and authentic. Seems to be a hangout place for local neighborhood individuals and has a very "homey" small town feel.“

“Charming place with lots of history. We shared an appetizer,a salad and a main and still took food home. We both thought the pork schnitzel was outstanding. My husband liked the calamari but I thought it was too chewy. Next time I would get the sweet chili sauce on the side so I could add it as needed . Loved the s Ceasar salad with fresh grated Parmesan . Our server was very attentive and brought dishes already split. Wished we had had room for desert!“

“My first time in this little piece of Mexican Heaven and I was touched by memories of calabaza con pollo made by my mom (and now sisters). Although there was no calabaza in today’s version, it had all the flavors and cooking with love that I get inside my mother’s kitchen. And to meet the owner and hear her talk I know everything is made with love and passion for home cooked meals. What a treasure this restaurant is for the Tucson community! The only bad thing was that I ate too quickly to take pictures. But I will be back!!!“

“I ordered the Adana Kebap and was amazed by the generous portion and delicious flavors. The lamb, rice, pita, salad, and grilled vegetables were all perfectly prepared. Definitely one of my favorite spots in Tucson. Can’t wait to return!!“
“Cool place with a great patio, vibe and friendly employees and customers. Brought the family with me on our annual trip to Tucson and we had a good time. Only reason I didn't give a 5/5 is that the options for kids were super limited, which I get is likely not the goal, its just the reality of my visit. My kids didn't enjoy the lemon lime soda and there wasn't a single other option other than water, and none of the food was really kid friendly. The beer was good but I think the one I enjoyed most was not one made by MotoSonora, it was a Mother Road beer. Overall, great place and if you aint bringing kids, you'll like it even more than I did.“

“This is definitely one of the top culinary experiences I've had in tucson! as a fat man, I take my food seriously and (besides the hyped up collard greens) I had the best meal I've had in awhile! food came out quick, and hot, our glasses stayed filled and the server, Kelsey, had a great attitude. the Brussel Spourts were perfect and came out quick, the cornbread was delicious (drip some of the Brussel sprout hotsauce on it) and the gumbo was rich and flavorful and the hushpuppies were perfect. crispy on the outside soft on the inside. The pasta, while good can be a little too fishy for some, but I enjoyed my little sample. the pickleberry pie i feel will be an acquired taste, that i acquired rather quickly. flaky crust, sweet and sour filling and a funky goatcheese with a good stank. i dont know how else to describe it. all in all must recommend this place.“
