Everyone looked happy to be there my only complaint is we live on Ina and Thornydale but it's worth the drive even with crazy Tucson traffic“

“Delicious, fresh, handmade pastas and sauces as well as rotating soft serve gelato! Today I went with my 3 year old and we had the fusilli with Cacio e Pepe sauce, it was delicious. On previous visits I've had the Bolognese and Vodka sauces and they were also very tasty.

This week the soft serve gelato options are cereal milk and strawberry, they were super tasty swirled together.

If you have kids they have a small play area which is such a nice addition that I wish more restaurants in Tucson would consider. They also have mini cones or cups of gelato for kiddos!“

“Smells like rotten meat as soon as you enter the establishment, so I did not have food there. Service was terrible. Server was rude and didn't make eye contact or connection. Just staring at the hand held order device. had to repeat myself 4 times to order a "double jack splash of coke on the rocks." I received soda and a splash of jack but was billed for a double. Atmosphere is less than desirable. I've been in dive bars with cleaner bathrooms. Terrible experience all around.“

“The food is incredible and the owner is the most real & incredible human. Story time: 5 or so years ago I went in to pick up food - I was having the worst day. I was sick, I was fighting with an awful human non stop and I had just finished a 22 day straight gem show job. I sat down to wait for my food and the owner saw my sorry state and just came out and started putting a bunch of shots of juice in front of me. Literally fixed my day and my life for moment. I get emotional just walking into this place. Nothing but warmth and love. ❤️❤️❤️“

It definitely brings down the overall experience after a great meal, really bummed we spent $21 on three soft serves.“

“I’m staying at the Best Western/Hotel Bridgeway on Tucson Ave. the Indian Twist restaurant is attached to the hotel. Super convenient, fast and DELICIOUS!! There’s not many Paneer dishes, but I asked if I could sub the chicken in the Butter Chicken for paneer. It was no problem! I had Butter Paneer, garlic naan and the wonderful rice. I got mild spice and it was PERFECT!! I wish I could have this everyday! Friendly service, making sure that I didn’t need anything else several times. As I was eating several pick up orders were completed, and a couple others came in to eat. Everyone was warmly welcomed, not the canned ‘welcome in’ response that you get many places. 10/10 - would eat here everyday.“

“We live super close to licks and I love to always try a different flavor and there custom milkshakes are so good also, if you look to the right of the fridge and between the lounge area on the wall there’s a menu for a bunch of different types of ice cream like one is a peanut butter sorta vibe ice cream cone and also another amazing thing is there staff they are always so friendly, I highly recommend this if your driving by or if you are eating dinner somewhere near I definitely recommend stopping by.“

“This is the best bread this side of the Mississippi, yes, you read that correctly, it's the absolute best! We moved to the area 6 months ago and tried all the bakeries in the wrea, and now we go out of our way for Barrio Bread.

Our favorite breads are the Jalapeno Cheddar, Cinnamon Raisin, Pain Au Levain, and Heritage.

The owner, Don Guerra, is always there, he is so nice, and seems so happy to share his passion for bread. There is usually a line, but totally worth the wait.

“First thing I say when we walk in, "OMG this place smells AMAZING!!", and tasted even better! Best falafel and gyro I've ever had!! I like that the falafel is patties instead of balls like most places. It was cooked perfectly..crispy crunchy on the outside, soft and almost cake-like on the inside. You get 4 cakes to the order plus pita bread, cucumbers and tomatoes. The gyro is HUGE!! I couldn't even pick it up to try and eat it until I ate some of the meat out of it, which btw, is flavored so beautifully that you don't really need the tzatziki sauce but definitely worth putting on bc the flavors of both go together so well! I HIGHLY recommend going to Istanbul if you want outstanding Mediterranean food in a good atmosphere! This place definitely get 👍👍 from this food enthusiast!!“

“We ordered a bunch of things at Houlden’s this morning, We’ve only tried a few things, but everything so far is delicious. We tried a chocolate hazelnut croissant and a chocolate cronut. We still have a number of other items to try out. They have a selection of savory items but we didn’t get any of those thinking we’d be going to lunch somewhere. That was a mistake! “So excited that they are a little closer to the southside now! The strawberry shortcake is our favorite!

Their A/C was out and it felt horrible in there. They said it was the 3rd time it had gone out. There is only 1 table on their side, but high is super disappointing since a large percent of the visits bill happen when it is too hot to be outside.

I received 3 'any one item free' coupons on opening, and then they charged me $1 for each item because they say it doesn't include the favorites. Very misleading and most definitely does not say it excludes the 'froggy favorites'.“

“Over the years La Olla has consistently stayed an excellent option for a good dinner, a good Mexican Restaurant and perhaps my favorite restaurant in Marana. There are other great restaurants here, of course, but there is just something about La Olla that continues to call us back...perhaps its the great service... or maybe the large portions of authentic Mexican cuisine...or perhaps its the comfortable and stylish interior that makes me feel comfortable...or perhaps its all of the above and more. “Charming place with lots of history. We shared an appetizer,a salad and a main and still took food home. We both thought the pork schnitzel was outstanding. My husband liked the calamari but I thought it was too chewy. Next time I would get the sweet chili sauce on the side so I could add it as needed . Loved the s Ceasar salad with fresh grated Parmesan . Our server was very attentive and brought dishes already split. Wished we had had room for desert!“
