“The food is incredible and the owner is the most real & incredible human. Story time: 5 or so years ago I went in to pick up food - I was having the worst day. I was sick, I was fighting with an awful human non stop and I had just finished a 22 day straight gem show job. I sat down to wait for my food and the owner saw my sorry state and just came out and started putting a bunch of shots of juice in front of me. Literally fixed my day and my life for moment. I get emotional just walking into this place. Nothing but warmth and love. ❤️❤️❤️“

DO NOT waste your money on the vegan “soft serve”, very disappointing texture and flavor when there are so many incredible vegan ice creams that exist. This stuff was weird and tasted syrup based. It definitely brings down the overall experience after a great meal, really bummed we spent $21 on three soft serves.“

“We live super close to licks and I love to always try a different flavor and there custom milkshakes are so good also, if you look to the right of the fridge and between the lounge area on the wall there’s a menu for a bunch of different types of ice cream like one is a peanut butter sorta vibe ice cream cone and also another amazing thing is there staff they are always so friendly, I highly recommend this if your driving by or if you are eating dinner somewhere near I definitely recommend stopping by.“

“Service excellent, food inventive, delicious. Dark slick tile floors, unmarked change from floor to a step…there must be a bright reflective tape or paint for more than one site in the restaurant. I was injured falling having not seen nor felt the one step. Management was most solicitous and paid our bill. We would never have asked for this and were surprised and grateful.“

“Renee's is one of my favorite places to eat. It's comfortable and delicious food - almost “home-cooked” but if your mom was a gourmet chef. I have enjoyed every dish I've ever ordered. The pizza is to die for and the pan seared chicken and tomato cream sauce is a fave. Her chicken Alfredo is some of the best Alfredo sauce and pasta dishes out there. And they have scrumptious vegan and vegetarian options and Zoodles!! Who doesn't love zucchini noddles?!? They do great takeout also but dining in for a quiet intimate dinner is always fun. Make reservations and just take the grownups.“

“First thing I say when we walk in, "OMG this place smells AMAZING!!", and tasted even better! Best falafel and gyro I've ever had!! I like that the falafel is patties instead of balls like most places. It was cooked perfectly..crispy crunchy on the outside, soft and almost cake-like on the inside. You get 4 cakes to the order plus pita bread, cucumbers and tomatoes. The gyro is HUGE!! I couldn't even pick it up to try and eat it until I ate some of the meat out of it, which btw, is flavored so beautifully that you don't really need the tzatziki sauce but definitely worth putting on bc the flavors of both go together so well! I HIGHLY recommend going to Istanbul if you want outstanding Mediterranean food in a good atmosphere! This place definitely get 👍👍 from this food enthusiast!!“

My family and I went, shared an order of the blueberry lemon pancakes, and each had our own meal. Each and every item we ordered was absolutely phenomenal. And the portions are huge!!!! “We came here a couple weeks ago for a double date and had such a great experience! Between the four of us, we sampled several dishes and they were all fantastic. The margherita pizza with lemon parm was incredible, and the mortadella appetizer—oh my gosh, so good! The only thing I wasn’t crazy about was the olive oil cake, but that’s just because I’m not a big fan of olive oil desserts. We did have to wait about an hour for a table (around 5 PM on a Saturday), but it was absolutely worth it. We can’t wait to go back!“

“Lemongrass is such a charming and welcoming spot, full of character. The food is seriously delicious, and you can tell everything is made fresh and from scratch. It has that real home-cooked feel that’s hard to find.

When it gets busy, the wait can be a bit longer, but that’s honestly just because they’re making everything to order. They are great about giving you a heads-up if things are running a little slow.

However, the reason that YOU should go to Sweet Tomatoes is that it IS Sweet Tomatoes. As others have mentioned, we have missed this restaurant since it shut down a few years ago. This Tucson location (the only one currently open in the USA) is perfectly representative of the Sweet Tomatoes that we love and remember. The food is so fresh and delicious. We had such old favorites like Tuna Tarragon and Caesar Asiago Salad. The soups and pasta dishes were outstanding. We especially enjoyed the Roasted Ratatouille Soup and the Coconut Muffins. The atmosphere was excellent as the dining area and serving lines were laid out in the same way as they were back in the day. The staff here are so professional, helpful and friendly. They are the best. If you loved Sweet Tomatoes before, you will be delighted with this Tucson location. Let's hope that they will be opening up in more areas of the USA soon.“
