“What a sweet little spot nestled against the shore on the Bowen Island pier. The gift shop is packed full of well designed products, beautiful books and gifts made locally and beyond. The Toast bar is a minimum 2-a-day visit. Toast for brunch or lunch (or dinner ;) and then ice cream later in the day. It's a must visit. Don't forget to order extra pickles!“

“Love this place because they have everything you want for a quick bite to eat or even some general store type things, great ice cream, and I like it even more because there is no tipping option, I don't understand tipping anywhere, except at a restaurant where servers actually do more work than just their wage!“

“Rain or Shine is my favourite Ice Cream place and this is my first time to come to this location at UBC.Compared with the location I normally go to on Cambie, this location at UBC is very small. There are not many seats you can sit inside the store. I didn’t feel comfortable for having a seat right by the door. However, it was also a bit too chilly for me to stand and enjoy my ice cream outside.We had single two flavours today. In my opinion, it is the better deal that allows you to try two flavours at the same time. It is also a more responsible choice if you need to watch your calorie intake.We went for two seasonal flings - Miso Dulcey Choc and Malt Choc Honeycomb. They were both surprisingly good and could not decide which one is better. Perhaps, Miso Dulcey Choc was more unexpected. It kind of had a creamy texture which we enjoyed. Malt Choc Honeycomb tasted like Milo - the malt chocolate drink that we grew up with.“

“Berry's frozen yogurt was the perfect thing after some fish and chips. Its a cute shop in the Horseshoe Bay. We took two fresh berries and mango yogurt. I will be honest when I entered I wasn't very hopeful for a good outcome let alone a pleasant one. The yogurt was made fresh with the fruits right there in front of us. Oh my god, that has to be the best frozen yogurt I have ever had. It wasn't runny and because fresh fruits were used in making it it was delicious. I finally now know where to find my favorite yogurt.“

“Really great big hotdogs, the buns are super fresh. Very clean. They let you add your own toppings. napkins are out so I can grab them whenever I need. The workers are super sweet with great service. The Chili and cheese dog is to die for! Will be coming again! ?“
