The Black Garlic Ramen was exceptional.

Visited The Ramen Butcher Burnaby in early October 2025. This used to be branded as Ramen Gaoh but they are under the same parent company (Menya Kouji Enterprises) that runs Ramen Gojiro). Menu is focused mainly on Hakata-style tonkotsu ramen.
We ordered the Black Garlic Tonkotsu Ramen ($17.5) and the Red Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen ($17.5) with lvl 1 heat and added the 3pc Gyoza ($4.95) and the 3pc Karaage ($5.95). Also got the Garlic Cucumbers ($6) which were very vinegary and...read full review
